  1. Sure! You’re Stan Lee right? I think y’all can figure out who I am Zhamlau: had minor foot surgery this week. Doc says not to walk too much.
  2. Hoping to go, might be in a wheelchair though.
  3. One book for sale. Shipping in the US and PayPal included. No returns, offers welcome. Not looking to trade. First take it or Pm gets it! Action Comics 22 CGC 3.0 ow/w pages Most recent sale is a 3.5 in July for $1613. Piece out on right edge is main defect. Looks worse than it is. $1349
  4. All for sale in my CAF gallery! Offers welcome! http://www.comicartfans.com/galleryroom.asp?gsub=13897
  5. Agreed. Though it wouldn’t surprise me to see many of these for sale with dealers in the next month. The Mcfarlane dps seemed cheap though I’m not in the market for pieces like that.
  6. Some market resistance perhaps? I noticed the same with a number of pieces, one I posted about earlier.
  7. Albert Moy will be there. I’m sure it’s the usual suspects.

  9. After seeing that Art Adams cover in various venues for $10k plus, it wasn’t a surprise to see it go for $3k which is what it sold for a few years ago at clink.
  10. Detective 27 in 7.5 mod (A3) went for $222k. With the trimmed Action 1 going for $265k, I figured the detective would go a little higher.
  11. Resale license means you buy to resell. It can be at shows or online etc. It doesn’t matter where the dealer is. Basic agreement would be between the dealer and customer with the agreed percentage to be paid.
  12. Nice eye appeal on the Batman 1 CGC 1.5 helped it along. Since the tape hasn’t stained it tells me it’s rather stable. In discussions with restoration experts, of a book is properly stored, the tape won’t cause enough damage in our lifetime that can be seen. That being said, I’ve has tape removed from a few books just to be safe.
  13. Love the book. But it’s gone up in price very quickly. Will have to wait until it settles down now
  14. Wonder how trimming will effect the price on the Action 1 ?
  15. Could the minimal financial increase of primo pieces be due to how infrequently they are traded? A case in point would be the ASM 59 cover. It traded hands between three dealers over the course of many years. Went from $10k to $100k to around $300k and now sold to a collector for around $400k. This is just one example but has Romita interior increased at the same percentage? I’m sure some examples have but not the majority.
  16. One primo piece will always appreciate more than multiple smaller pieces imo.
  17. Not counting the collected editions, there were 14 or so covers for Hush. Demand clearly outweighs the supply. If you have the cash and must have one, go for it.
  18. You missed one important thing the art now comes with! A certificate of authenticity! Now that’s worth it right?
