  1. Great Dr Strange page! Congrats! I purchased a Batman Shadow of the Bat page by Brian Apthorp. Haven't seen much of his work on the market. The line work is incredible! http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1347287
  2. Recently added this amazing pinup by Darwyn Cooke to my collection! Thanks to Gus for parting with it!
  3. Thrilled to add this Spiderman Cover by Siya Oum to my collection! http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1341562
  4. Nostalgia plays a huge part. Growing up reading Jim Lee, McFarlane, Larsen etc doesn't make it easy to buy the art, especially when they have dealers who know the ins and outs of the market. I find that art from the 70's and 80's can actually be more affordable than from the 90's. And there is always modern art which can be expensive, but you can get some amazing pieces for a reasonable amount.
  5. Added this amazing Jim Lee X-Men page with Wolverine in every panel! http://www.comicartfans.com/galleryPiece.asp?Piece=1338259&GSub=0&GCat=236&UCat=236
  6. Many are still raw and in strong hands.
  7. The seller has agreed to a full refund so no need to drag someone's name in the mud. All is well so no worries. Thanks for pointing it out Chris.
  8. You would think it would have been clearly declared at the time of sale. The seller must have known and chose not to tell you. Possibly, but I should have done by due diligence as well. He is accepting a return on the piece. Ankur
  9. I appreciate it! Love the page but paid quite a bit for it. Negotiating with the seller.
  10. Striking page. However, for your benefit, I'd be remiss if I didn't make mention of the credits on this particular title and how the art was created. Did you have Albert of J. Bone confirm for you that there are Darwyn's pencils underneath? Albert's site mentions that the Spirit/Batman pages are all J Bone's inks over a copy of Cooke's pencils. J Bone also signed the page which I've only see when it's all him. Since you just picked it up, I figured I should mention it just in case you had not double checked the credits, to give you a chance to do something about it. Wouldn't want anyone paying for Cooke pencils when there might not be any. At the very least then it will allow you confirm who worked on the page and give full attribution. Wasn't aware of this! Thanks for the heads up.
  11. I know of a coverless 37 if the winner is looking to complete the book.
  12. Added this lovely Darwyn Cooke piece this week. It is from Batman & The Spirit featuring Barbara Gordon, James Gordon and P'Gell! While I would love a piece with BG in costume, they are far and few.
  13. This is key before jumping to conclusions. CGC 6.5 B-5 as a starting point. Have an image? If it was older resto it's very feasible that it could be improved. Adding enough CT will cover most flaws.

  15. From what I saw in an interview with Leto, Joker didn't even need to be in the movie. He had about 20 minutes in the movie;
