    I agree. A very small percentage of my art collection is nostalgia driven. If it was I would have nothing but Mcfarlane and Larsen Spiderman and Jim Lee X-Men/Wildcats. Most actually revolves around characters and art styles I enjoy.

    People automatically associate old with valuable. Sadly doesn't work that way. I get emails all the time in response to a craigs list ad with 80s and 90s comics. Its hard to tell people they are only worth 50 cents each. A local shop here buys long boxes of books like this for $25.

    Not buying the first appearance of Mary Jane from ASM 42 from Mike Burkey back in 2007. It was $50k which was more than I had spent on anything.
