  1. You need to start coming by more! BTW - I remember meeting you, ever so briefly, back in 2006 at the New York show where VALIANT had their "reunion." -slym
  2. I like how the writers are giving us multiple people that they want us to think might be the Joker - but I am with you, I don't want any of these jokers to actually be the Joker! -slym
  3. Well, my little situation wasn't going to last forever, I can afford it now... but the seller tells us what GPA is for these right in his sales thread. :: -slym
  4. I am thinking Negan will be next season's "mid-season finale." There will be a "surprise guest" on next week's The Talking Dead... so, who's gonna die? -slym
  5. Heh - I had to go looking for the sales thread you all were talking about, it didn't take long to find it with the GL reference (and no responses to the thread helped as well!) :: I like how the seller wants to blame "a slow day" instead of the fact that he's $75-90 above GPA and he wants the 3% for PayPal. -slym
  6. It's a truly great looking piece that I would never let go of. I also have a Tohru Nakadai Rai from him as well, and while it's pretty dynamic, it doesn't present as well as the Takao Konishi Rai piece. Thanks again, man!!! -slym
  7. Are there more than a half a dozen Midtown variants that have had any secondary market value? IDK, but I look at them more as JSC-drawn variant covers than Midtownvariant covers. -slym
  8. Too bad Firefox doesn't used the cached versions, it seems to want to reload every page, which is totally unnecessary. Also, FF likes to reload the page I am already on instead of actually go back when I hit the"back" button in the browser. *sigh* -slym
  9. Your guess appears to be potentially accurate. First Look At New Look Of Fish Mooney In Gotham We just cannot get rid of her. -slym
  10. Thanks! I had Sean Chen draw it for me back in 2006 at the Big Apple Con. -slym
  11. There are a few here that still remember and/or collect VALIANT books. This era is VALIANT, all caps, all the time! -slym
  12. Generated in 0.02 seconds in which 0.005 seconds were spent on a total of 16 queries. Zlib compression enabled. I'm good now. -slym
  13. As long as she doesn't go by "Peggy," I'm down! -slym
  14. OK, so sold copies yesterday are still all over the price-range for the Midtown Spider-Gwen variants. I have seen prices at $15/20 for the lows and $60/75 for the highs, colour & "sketch" variants respectively. I have my two (one each colour and B&W) at $99 BIN w/Best Offer and barely any looks, much less no offers, and this also includes a regular copy. -slym
  15. Can I replace Janis Joplin with Lenny Bruce? Janis did not get along with Morrison, I forgot... -slym
  16. 1) (too many to choose from, I can't choose just one, so I dis-qualify myself) 2) Dear Prudence 3) Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, & Janis Joplin -slym
  17. Yep. So all you losers out there with your fancy phantoms and JSCs and other soon-to-be-dollar-bin-fodder variants, just go ahead and send all your non-AH variants over to me.... I'll step up and take one for the team and dispose of them properly. Which marvel shop variants are you currently finding in dollar bins? He was just funnin' with us. -slym
  18. I don't think we really know yet. But then again, I have not paid attention to the Ebay results so far either. For the JSC-drawn Midtown variants, prices are up now that they are out over the pre-Wednesday sales - but, prices are all over the place. I am seeing the color version go from $13 to $60, and the B&W "sketch" version selling for between $16 & $76!!! -slym
  19. JSC covers have to end up doing something... I hope... -slym
