  1. Not sure what it is, but the Golden Record didn't have a price on it IIRC. Never seen anything with numbers below the issue number either.
  2. I've got the same issue, only a newsstand variant, at CGC now. I can only hope they're as lenient on my copy.
  3. It has a few spine ticks, a bit of a blunted corner and it looks like a touch of distributor's overspray on the back cover. Thanks for looking!
  4. It's really not all that difficult to tell a counterfeit from a real Cerebus 1 if you know what to look for. I wouldn't buy one without having it hand to though.
  5. Yeah - sorry about the shadows. I didn't realize how bad it was until looking on my PC screen. It wasn't obvious from the phone.
  6. Hard to see that going higher than 6.0.
  7. One bullseye but off by two grades on two books. Overall a 6. Coulda been worse I suppose...
  8. That's certainly possible and I had that thought when I got it back. It's an obvious thing to have missed.
  9. C&P really helped this one out, but still shocked by the grade. Happily, I'll take it!
  10. Will be sent for a C&P before submittal. There are a couple of color breaking tics on the spine. I'm not sure if the nicks on the lower cover are manufacturing issues (grippers maybe?).
  11. Note the small chip in the RH edge of the front cover.
  12. I couldn't see much that would have kept this from a 9.8, and that's exactly how it came back.
  13. Seems like someone posted some "do it yourself" slabs recently. The slabs are similar to the CGC ones. Maybe that would be an option for you.
