  1. I was hoping you'd get it, congrats.
  2. Just received my first purchase from Bill. Easy to work with & ships fast. Thanks!
  3. I can cut and paste my review from what has been said here already: Never read the book, so an all-new character for me w/no historical knowledge Enjoyed the show, but cannot be compared to Daredevil, as they are completely different Some slow episodes in the middle, but picks up at the end Great villain, sad that he won't get a chance to face DD
  4. Completed my first purchase from Robert & I hope it will not be my last. From scans to grades to packaging ... everything is top notch.
  5. While not as 'underground' as your examples, Marvel published four issues of Pro Action magazine (1994ish). Focused on the NFL, this was during the time when there was a lot of crossover between superheroes and athletes, both in comics and trading cards. There were two bound-in Spider-Man comics & two X-Men comics.
  6. Agreed. I'd guess that about 20 of the books in the 'influential' list would be a Top 50 Copper Overstreet book (based on their raw 9.2 prices). A little higher if you include the variants (for example, TMNT #1 1st, 2nd and 3rd prints are all ranked in the top 14 copper books per Overstreet standards). Sadly, Overstreet does not even track their top books all that closely.
  7. Silly question - are the 'Worst From' books also magazine-size, even though not noted as such in Overstreet?
  8. Any thoughts on the creature that was stalking the halls of the hospital? Facially, I thought it resembled the Supreme Intelligence. Might be a stretch, but that was my first thought. I don't recall that character ever taking human form, but if it happened in the last 20 years, I wouldn't have read it anyway.
  9. My fourth double (of which I am aware). Didn't know about this one until I took it out to read.
  10. Nice variety lately. Just one book today. It's got a little moisture ripple at the top, but I'm ok with it.
  11. I think french fries in my chocolate shake is the closest analogy I can make.
  12. For a kid that loved super hero comics as well as parody items like Cracked magazine or Wacky Packages, those stickers were the best of both worlds. Still have both full sets.
  13. I don't know about that, but I wonder if that thing 'sensed' that she has potential.
  14. So which future Inhuman was Raina describing from her latest vision?
  15. Not sure if anyone has been to the Mall of America, but here are a few shots of the entrance to the TMNT ride.
  16. The instruction manuals will get slabbed without the benefit of receiving a grade (scroll down the page). Not sure if the same could be done for guidebooks. Not sure if it's done for signature series only?
  17. Bought over 100 books from Jared. All arrived safe & as described. Would not hesitate to buy from again.
  18. Agreed. I don't think that the timeline of events in the Marvel 616 universe should dictate the 1st appearance of a character in the universe which I live & read comics. Too many flashbacks, issue #0, issue #-1 and such to muddy the waters.
  19. If you guys haven't checked it out yet, there is a thread in the Golden Age section entitled "My 50 year junk obsession". The OP has started showing off some of his non-magazine Mad-related items (starts on pg. 83). It's a great thread from start to finish if you like seeing pop culture items of all types, but I thought the Mad stuff would be appreciated by this crowd.
