We had (still have)? a variety of SSP vehicles (I seem to remember some 'rocket'-type cars), including that Smash-Up Derby set. The pop-off parts would go all over the place and the ramps worked well with Hot Wheels too! Definitely picked up speed on tile. Thanks for sharing.

It was a paperback/digest kind of Sunday ... Loved the magazine, never knew they had paperbacks. Had a Dover moment, except these are not 1st prints. Original reprint digest (Gold Key), not the republished reprint digest (Whitman).

Seems like there's been a Mile High book every other page for the last few days now. Pretty soon, we're going to need a reservation to post in this thread. Thanks to everyone for sharing some incredible books!

I had posted this in a thread about comic artists outside of comics, but I thought you guys would appreciate it here as well. Found it while thumbing through some old Circus rock magazines:

I found this little nugget at a flea market last summer, but I never got around to scanning for the antique mall/garage sale/flea market thread. I was looking through a box that primarily contained sci-fi/fantasy art magazines when I came across this (the post-its were not included, just trying to maintain some privacy for the original owner): The return address sparked my interest, so I flipped it over: And finally, the prize inside: I'm not sure how often these things turn up, but I was very happy to find them with the original mailer. It would have been nice if a thank you letter was included, or something on Mirage letterhead, but it's still a nice grouping.

I don't think I've posted to this thread before, so I'll apologize if these items already appear in the 100+ pages of history. The first is a book I bough over the summer at a used book sale hosted by a local library. All of the pop/pull/twist items inside still work!

I saw those Winnipeg Hulks on eBay and immediately thought "I wonder who'll be posting them in the 'This week in your collection' thread"? Nice pickup.

I don't know if it was a movie, TV show or direct-to-video, but something definitely in that medium. Had a chance to speak with Dave at C2E2 and he mentioned that something was in the works.

I've got that X-Men 'Pedigree' as well. Mine is #227/40,000. How rare! New Mutants 88 Incredible Hulk 369 Hidden book is Spectacular Spider-Man 163 Usually the Hulk is hidden & Spidey is showing, but I opted to scan the Hulkster version.

I also posted this in the Bronze "Infinite Multi-Pack" thread, but here it is again in case you don't hang out in those parts. Middle book is Muppet Babies #5.
