  1. so, is issue #100 considered the 1st appearance of negan?
  2. Commented writer John Layman, “Secret Agent Poyo is the most important thing to happen to comics in the last three hundred and fifty years, and it’s clear that the public recognizes it for the towering literary achievement that it is.” HILLARIOUS but TRUE
  3. cool 2nd printing! when is it coming out? on the topic of S.A.P. this came in the mail yesterday! POYO IN CHOG HEAVEN!!! anyone else get some poyo this week too. please share also
  4. if the books you have would grade 9.8 it would make sense to grade them as slabbed chews are definately commanding decent money even in some of the later issues and not just 1-5 which are all almost $100 books lately (the 90 day avg on all of them are between $88-148)
  5. PS that is an awesome piece by rob. was checking out his tweets and poyo seemed like the man of the hour and the full color commissions were awesome. here's a poyo piece he did for me last year
  6. showoff (thumbs u and just think if it wasnt for a nudge from me, i might have had the market on key poyo pages tied up. what page did you get from SAP? i got page 22 myself...
  7. WOW $234 for Chew #1 Larry's Limited Edition. A new high for that book. very glad i picked up my 10 when i did

  10. can't wait for tomorrow. secret agent poyo (and wd 100 too). will definately be in the lookout for a 9.8 SDCC version SS or not. will hope one of the usual suspects can hook me up. and i am amazed to see that the limited edition is up to almost $200 bucks on ebay right now about to end http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEW-COMIC-1-CGC-9-8-SKETCH-VARIANT-LIMITED-TO-1000-NM-MINT-/251100184421?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item3a76bcbf65
  11. where did you see it for sale with a price? not in my range
  12. i teased him about advertising for you but you will see i also paid you some major props too (thumbs u and yes, he knows it's you
  13. not sure about any of those things but i have to say that i think this issue every 3 weeks has taken a toll on charlie adlard. his art usually created a mood for the comic but issue 99 just seemed lazy and sloppier than usual. for instance completely black faced glen on page 4 i have heard many complain about his art and i could agree with what they were saying but wouldnt go as far as to back it up. but issue 99 really looked a notch below the usual quality...
  14. well, here's my amelia page (better than nothing )
  15. color me green! is that also the guy who has 17 mint chews in his registry set? nice!!! now, i hope doug didn't make the same deal for secret agent poyo
  16. but jeff, amelia isn't on the cover. i still haven't found out who got all of issue 25, any ideas???
  17. yes, case closed and thanks to everyone for their input on the matter.
  18. i don't think it was something serious enough for the PL, just really wanted to air my grievance so that others could know what they might be getting into when they deal with him. i am all for letting it go. i just don't want people to think i did something as shady as he suggested.
  19. i really don't like being accused of something as serious as switching a book or books. if the scans i sent you didn't match the books in the pictures it was because something happened in packing/shipping. i never accused dr chaos of selling me something other than what was in the sales thread, i have no idea why he would accuse me of that here is a link to a zip file with full sized scans of the defects i was complaining about(i could post the pics here but they dont show the defects well) https://dl.dropbox.com/u/27387326/chewscans.zip there are many inconsistencies in what he wrote in his defense and could pick them apart but the thing that really bothered me the most was the accusation of switching a book.
