I was underbidder. I had a lower bid and then got pissed off and bid 1200 to try win since I got decked on the others. You can see how well that turned out. Oh well. At least I hopefully made tsimanga or whoever the seller was some extra money. Now I can go back to reality and start being cheap again Yeah, that was my book too. Thanks for the congrats. But it was a tough decision, auctioning off all of my HG pre-hero books. I planned on keeping them but my collecting focus has shifted to unslabbed, and these are all too nice to bust out of the cases. It's not like I bought these off the rack though...... I paid good money for them.

Holy carp! We have a new player who is not messing around to complete their run That JIM #56 was mine... it is a sharp 8.5 and a tough book... hope the new owner keeps it in his collection for a long time. I also hope this "new player" saves his pennies up, 'cause there's a whole bunch more HG pre-heros coming in Clink's Feb and March auctions. Yes, good results thus far on the pre-heros...

Yes, they will - they will get "special" extensions. Which they've already gotten...but, as I said, they will not be able to hold on to them indefinitely, unless the laws themselves are changed. Why not? Because other, less powerful entities will watch their copyrighted characters fall...and will create a storm about it. All true. But they will continue Disney's copyright extensions as long as hundreds of thousands of people are employed by the company and the $ generated. Disney is in a different league than virtually any other copyright because of the widespread implications. Making Disney characters public domain will NEVER happen.
