  1. This is really true. I've sold about half of my collection this year to fund some other purchases/investments and had a good chunk of change left over. I've been looking for some good buys to put that money back into and can't find anything so I bought a house instead. My returns were great on things that I held over 10-15 years, I'm curious to know if that would remain true on books bought currently.
  2. The colors are very nice in hand. Colorado book once removed from the OO. You should be very happy with it.
  3. That one caught my eye. Something about it seemed like a strong representative example.
  4. Thanks, I love his early stuff. Definitely a shift in style over the course of his career.
  5. I got the Kubert splash. It'll go well with my other DC war art, somehow it all ends up being aerial themed.
  6. I've been doing this with comics for the past few years. As prices escalate, books of marginal interest become books of no interest. My art interests are less pricey, so I haven't had to triage nearly as much, but I also am very happy with the art I have so I'm not going nuts.
  7. This is such a great image. Impossible book in decent shape.
  8. BRO I'M SO MAD THAT THIS FAKE BOOK IS GRADED BY THESE LOSERS I'M GONNA GO PUNCH A WALL BRO!!!1
  9. It is goofy as hell. He looks like he spilled his drink in his lap.
  10. It's bleed through from the inside front cover. Look at the tip of the wing. Pretty common with reds on white cover books.
  11. Definitely. It's noted as an Everett cover, but I just don't see it. I think there are some features of Everett, but parts of it don't cut it. @comick1 and I were just going over this.
  12. As a Heath fan it pains me to say that I think 26 is the best in the run, followed by 24/14 in no particular order.
  13. Ballsy to try to get more than $10K for a non-war cover Timely. It'll be interesting to see if the pedigree can push it to make a profit.
  14. Seriously. Sometimes it's a good thing to lose a customer.
  15. I bet I could catch up with the market for your washtones...
  16. No, but you made no such qualification, and scarcity has no impact on significance. Hulk 181 isn't hard to find.
  17. Time to sip on some Old Overholt?
