Anyone know how many pages the book will be?
Perhaps make it a volume 1 and 2?
-
This fall. Or next Tuesday. Nobody's sure.Any updates on when this pedigree book will be out?I heard Axl Rose is helping out with the book so who knows when it will come out.
I'm totally looking forward to this book though. Some great stories behind some of these collections.

Got a few things in, mostly items everones allready seen before.
But I was really stoked to pick this up from Silver Surfer.
The full 22 page battle issue from Marvel Mystery 9
I just need to decide if I want to spend the money having it slabbed for a NG, to keep it well protected. I would love to hear thoughts on this.
I know its only pages but it is quite scarce its the complete story and it is 28 in the top 100 Golden age comics. Besides I probably will never own the full comic.
I would love to hear thoughts on this pleas.
Heres the first few and the last few pages
I'm thinking some major league archival framing and allow yourself to look at it regularly!
That would be awesome nicely framed

I only signed up on here to eventually dethrone the reigning Vancouver champ

Marvel #1 Intro Torch Origin Subby

Would love to hear some good hard facts on this issue.
This is why I don't have any opinions on pressing yet.
I need some solid evidence that pressing is damaging and so far I haven't heard any

My wifes brother swears by the stuff. I only like it when it is ice cold. As soon as it warms up a little I can taste the lack of sugar and need pepsi or regular coke.
-
I hope they ban it in the U.S. as well.
Soon I will trade coke zero for comics

Awesome group shot Dark Knight

Everything was finalized so I can finally put this up as well. It came from a 3 way (trade) deal , and the best thing is I did not have to dig into my bank account (By Order of the Wife), and came out not giving up too much either. Well anyway, here is my second Tec in 1 week ( a first for me). I know I will be getting some primetime pms tonight about this (but thank God it was not a 2.0 or up or I would never hear the end of this)..... and so what if it is a .5 I Love it no less
wow John. congrats...Terry O'Neill offered me that same copy about 3 weeks back after he plucked it from an LA collector...
Best .5 copy EVER!
+1 Cover looks great Great Pickup

yeah, but like sands in an hourglass, I can't hold onto any of them... I just "rent" them
Do we all not just "rent" our comic books eventually, somewhere along the line they will no longer be ours

TEC 31 - Unrestored and Pre Robin
-
Let's greatly beef up the competition against the Tec 29 from the last match-up. Both sold in 2008 for $19,000. Now which one would you choose, and why?
Robin makes me puke but it's hard to turn down a Batman #1.
+1 Robin
-
TEC 29 cause its pre Robin and one of my all time favs
This is like comparing the Batman Begins movie to the Batman & Robin movie
I'm not saying the Batman 1 sucks like the movie with Chris ODonnell but this is the beginning of the bike riding, tug of wars, hand holding and cuddling at night.
-
TEC 29 One of my top three fav covers of all frickin time
I really need to save up 19k and get one
lets see... $5 a month.....nevermind

Many thanks to a couple of board members for putting these on hold for me. Two of my favorite Cap covers and Canadian copies to boot. Only 2 maybe 3 know copies of each as far as I know, the #74 is my old copy and the #70 I have been after Vern for 2 years to sell to me.
Love that 74. Canadian edition too
