  1. Question for you guys storing comics in gun safes, fire safes etc

Ever noticed any staples getting rust? Is it possible? Is this why the eva dry de humidifiers are in there?

I had a friend put away a rifle in his safe without cleaning/oiling it and rusted right up, hahaaha to him being lazy

I only keep rifles in my gun safe oiled and cleaned so I don't worry about rust

How long have you stored comics in your safes for? Years? Months?

  2. Hey all, I'm looking for some recommendations. I mainly collect Batman and Spiderman titles which as we all know are more than readily available. If you have the money you could put together a spiderman run in a day just buying off ebay

I'm looking for some recommendations on a fun mini series or run to collect that will take a bit more searching...I miss the thrill of the hunt. I'm wanting something that will have me digging through long boxes. Something a little more obscure.

Gold, silver, bronze, copper...preferably non mainstream hero...western,horror,sci fi, crime whatever. Something with some good art. Nothing too pricey, no pre Robin tecs or anything crazy like that.

Right now I'm leaning towards maybe some westerns like Rawhide kid, Two Gun kid etc or Pre hero marvel sci fi or maybe some CRIME...

What do you recommend? and why do you recommend it?

    Thanks for the suggestions !

I went back to Rob's Church Database and pulled out the Four Color properly out of the list [they are listed by feature name, not as being part of the FC series consistently so you have to separate them out individually].

    The quick numbers come to:

    # of Dells in that advertised list: 1,540

    # of Four Colors (both series): 272 (or 17%) breaking down somewhat like: 9 from the First series, 37 from the first 100 of Second Series,  29 in the 100's, etc.

where would one find this "database" you speak of ? please and thanks
