  1. Not sure if i could afford, a 9.4. Would $500k get it done? Probably not since the last 9.2 on cl sold for close to that. And the cc cgc 9.0 sold for $400k. I be lucky to get 9.2 at where i'm at
  2. 7.0 that will go on sale with high grade comics?
  3. When spending more than $5k one should make informed decisions. Listening to cheerleaders and naysayers equals disaster. I make my decisions based not on this thread. I based it more on my private interactions with buyers and sellers, auctions houses and other external factors.
  4. Shouldn't matter much what people say on here. I doubt anybody makes there decisions on buying based on a cheerleader, analyzer, or naysayer
  5. Those tend to be listed for strong asking prices
  6. I'm sure he has more and sold more than 50 since 2009. I bet his batting average is 1.000-perfect
  7. Yes i enjoy spidey, af15 is the only silver age book that gets me excited. I tried other silver age books too but none of them got my blood flowing as af15, i tried but i always end up with my one and only love-af15. I get excited about the lower grades too, just as long as its unrestored. Dealt with all the major dealers at ond point or another. Also dealt with many boardie collectors too. All the money i made from af15 has been poured back into my current inventory. I also like turtles 1 too therefore i named myself spiderturtle when i joined the boards in 2009. Big fan of mr gator, been following his expertise since 2009
  8. Financially i'm ready if the af15 market crashes. I'm ready to hold onto it for the next 10 years if it crashes. I see my 7.0, 7.0, and 7.5 as long term hold, but if i get a good deal from a buyer, i'm more than willing to sell it. The lower grades are fluid but i like to diversify and have lower grades if i need to sell faster(bigger pool of buyers). I've sold 50 copies 2009, allfor positive gain except for 2. So 48 out of 50 is pretty good.
  9. There's 3 different 8.0 on cl. Surprised the last hasnt sold yet.
  10. I hope i'm wrong but i talked to the cl guys directly and that seller was firm on his $150 asking price. After this $125k sale, he might achieve such a price
  11. Not sure of the 7.0 white on cl, according to cl they said it went unsold
  12. I admit that i'm a cheerleader here for af15. I dont want to cheer too hard b/c im actively buying more. The 8.0 and 5.0 sales has set a higher bar for all the grades in between. Be interesting to see what 7.5 will go for. I assume people are gonna ask between $125k(7.0) and $235(8.0) money.
  13. Here's a 7.0 i bought from blazing bob just this past week. I thought i had paid a strong price but today i see the cl 7.0 sell for $125k!!
  14. Glad I have a 7.0, 7.0, 7.5. Not sure if I can get another 7.0 at this rate
  15. Or more than just 1 front scan. How about 4 or 5 more front scan?
