there's a lot of hatred for af15 mania. I don't see the af15 guys going over to the golden age area and hating on the "classic covers" or the pre-robin tecs. Pretty entertaining if you ask me. Similar analogy to my beloved gs warriors. a lot of people hating them right now since they've formed the super team. Hate all you want cause it's not gonna stop the steaming train.

the cc copy at 9.0 ended at $395K(basically $400k) just a month or so ago. that's the benchmark for higher grades. Looking at the census, one can see its hard to obtain 8.0 and above. not many offered and if they were offered not many on the census to quench the demand.

Af15 is the only book that gets me excited but we it comes to reliving my childhood. I spend money on these things(knowing that they probably wont go up in value) 1. Garbage pail kids 2. Afa graded 1980s transformers, gi joe, he-man 3. Vga graded sega master system and sega genesis games

How about certain boardies that keep on insisting that theres too much supply of af15. I've done quite well with af15, ever since i've joined the boards. I've ignored those people. Market price=supply vs demand. Tends to be the golden age guys coming over here and making that argument. Is it just haters being haters?

+1, it's also the goal of collectors too. Most of my sucess occurs when i hold onto this book for 1-2 years. Cyclical movement, buy low at +1.5 years ago and sell high now. Like you said earlier, similar pettern will repeat itself.
