  1. I was looking at recent past results and the pence 7.5 ended at a pretty strong result, especially for a pence version http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=675328
  2. that should pretty much should answer any further questions on that topic
  3. Maybe the buyer has millions of dollars to spend and money is irrelevant. I was criticized here on the boards when i made a comment that ff 52 cgc 9.8 set a record high, a crazy price. The conclusion from a few other boardies was maybe money was irrelevant in that purchase.
  4. The 5.0 doesn't look as crazy in comparison. This one has some mc therefore it's 30 percent less than the nice 5.0. But yeah i doubt we'll see another $57k sale of a 5.0 anytime soon
  5. About 1.5 years ago i considered hording as many 4.5s as possible as flipping candidates. That plan failed when i couldn't help myself; i instead went 7.0 route. But back then 4.5s were about $16k or so and i knew that was a good buy price considering that 5.0s were in the mid to high 20k
  6. A nice looking 4.0 http://m.ebay.com/itm/352018317061
  7. Comiclink March focused auction http://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/default.asp?Focused=1 ending tonight
  8. http://www.comiclink.com/Auctions/search.asp?FocusedOnly=1&where=auctions&title=detective+31&ItemType=CB the book in question
  9. How about putting up books in the comiclink focused auction which starts 4/12. That way people still have money before all the big event auctions
  10. The well rounded collectors should have both 'rare golden age' and 'less rare silver age. But i've seen golden age fans talk down on silver age books alot here on the boards due to lack of scarcity of silver age books. All irrelevant, cause ive been yelling and screaming that only thing that matters is supply vs demand
  11. I remember when 5.0s were 10k and asking if theres a chance it could be a $20k book. A few boardies answered said no b/c too much supply.
  12. I would take a no mc at lower grade vs a mc higher grade all day long. But sparkle city will get a strong price on this copy. If this same copy went to auction elsewhere with a bad scan it would go lower
  13. I would take a no mc at lower grade vs a mc higher grade all day long. But sparkle city will get a strong price on this copy. If this same copy went to auction elsewhere with a bad scan it would go lower
  14. It's gonna go for a record price for mc copy is my prediction. Sparkle city always seem to get strong prices for af15s. Good scan perhaps?
  15. http://comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAuctions%2Fsearch.asp%3FFocusedOnly%3D1%26where%3Dauctions%26title%3DHulk%2B1%26ItemType%3DCB%23Item_1171449&id=1171449 this 7.0 looks sharp, already at $36,000
