  1. good point, a concise summary of the previous discussion I also found another thread, pretty interesting reading on this topic: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=8629081&fpart=5
  2. Seems to have been discussed on the boards at one point http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=573548&fpart=1
  3. Imho the 2nd most interesting character behind spidey when it comes to silver age
  4. does anyone know the history behind the hulk 1 graded at 8.0 (eastern file copy, married cover)
  5. +1, i also thought the 8.0 married copy looked sharp too
  6. The best decision i ever made long and short term was to acquire these 3 7.0. I'm not going think to much about the recent spike. The market will play itself out. Part of my permanent collection
  7. +1, easily 30 percent gap b/t mc vs no mc copies
  8. 2 sales of 7.5 at $85k+ on cl, new price point for that grade
  9. Been saying people are willing to spend 30 percent more for no mc nice eye appeal in the same grade, look at ebay and the 4.5s sitting there vs this ha copy and the cc copy
  10. Not $30k yet but how about $27k and yes the sky is about to start falling
  11. Some nice looking hulk 1 on cc auction
  12. 4.5-at $22k seems reasonable. The 5.0s at $30k is also reasonable too
  13. Maybe the buyer won't mind if it remains a 4.5. A recent cc cgc 5.0 auction went for $30k, and that copy i believe had rusty nails. Anything is possible when it comes to strong eye appeal copies
  14. I agree, but for me playing the upgrade game is too risky. But for someone from california, i would bid higher on the cc copy b/c i wouldn't get taxed the 10 percent like the ha copy and zero interest for 6 months is nice. That could easily swing the price $5k right there. Maybe a normal 4.5 should go for $22k vs the $27k
  15. It should if it also had an option of 6 month zero interest payment plan
  16. 6 months to pay at no interest will result in record prices
