  1. Yeah i get that part. But if i were cc or cl i would not allow these listing until a better scan is avaiable. Quality control
  2. The back cover photo makes the book look pretty solid. But it looks like the front cover pic was shot in the dark by candlelight. Seems like an odd or calculated choice. At $60k with front cover fuzzy? Wow I am surprised cc would allow a fuzzy scan on a high dollar book. Scheme by seller to see current market value? Or did a buddy bid up the price. Odd at best
  3. Of course, there are only 2 books that are more important. All-time list AF 15 is the clear #3. +1
  4. The cc sc4 auction results will help push up values on af15s
  5. You could totally trade that for an FF#52 that would make fellow ff52 members happy
  6. It was a CGC 7.5 with a note of stain on front cover. It was cracked and there was no stain on the interior since it was obvious it was not on the front. That made it an 8.0. Sounds like a good idea to resubmit. I'll be rooting for you in your quest a bigger fish, 9.0? I wish I would have seen that 9.4 that recently sold. You would be top dog of this club with that copy

  8. I KNEW the guy who got that CGC 9.0 copy a little while back on comic link got a helluva deal. -J. Yeah, i remember that book on cl
  9. 8.0 $87k. I'd be happy for that fellow boardie. $20k jump http://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=650280
  10. 9.0 $237k wow! www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=651409
  11. Great story, great seller, great book and great wife ! -J. Brian is a great guy. I've sold a few af15s the last few years to him.

  13. I agree that all the above mentioned books will do as well as the af15. I like af15 b/c it gives me the thrill or high of owning it. I've owned at one point or another some major keys but the thrill wasn't the same and i found myself selling the books to finance af15s. I don't get that thrill with other books. The only books that would surpass that thrill would be an action 1 or tec27. With recent sales of restored copies, looks like i'm priced out of those 2 books. If you don't mind my asking, did you sell all of your Action #1 pages that you had slabbed? Sold them all
