  1. you'd be surprised. There are only 4-6 know examples of a carded green goblin. Enough demand to warrant high prices
  2. and I believe I have shelled out about as much as anyone (25K for a carded green goblin, $16K for a carded wonder woman...$60K for a kresge set, etc)... put on ebay , or sell privately, the stretch figures are a little soft right now, but given that the white boxed version is scarcer than the red box, someone will pony up for it Did you get that carded Green goblin from Mark Huckabone? nope...he wanted 40K for his Sy Winnie? Or did you get the one that showed up on EBay that wasn't attached to the card? Nope and nope. Was a private collector I bought from

  4. All of Bunkys centaurs will be mine one day
  5. I love this cover. You and me both, brother. I remember when I had 3 copies of this issue Mr Bedrock had a beautiful copy I yearned for, but prevaricated over a moment too long. That was likely my old (and current) 7.5.
  6. the good news is that this item has a pretty steady following of "experts"...the value is pretty much already known by those that buy pieces such as these...sure, you might get an auction bump, but the general range is already "known"... that said, the last few mego hulk examples have sold for less than previous examples... (that's why I said a little soft).... high end collectibles require high end buyers...these, like in the comic hobby, are generally known (who the real players are)...... with ebay capping fees at $250, using morphy's or hakes will just be giving the auction houses more money, a seller of this piece will NOT benefit from them.... if she is not interested in a private sale (and I already know of several folks talking to her already), then ebay, no reserve auction is the way to go...

  9. Really? The Mego blog guy said airplanes were bad. I shall pass that info along as well. Which would you recommend as a selling venue or consignment for an item like this? Again, thank you so much for your help. fedex cargo planes are pressurized....no different than it sitting in the back of your car to take to the post office....fedex overnight is just fine...
  10. Store like comics. Cool, dark and dry No worries shipping them any method
  11. I've only ever seen in the red box. Most heroes were released in the white box so stands to reason hulk was too. Since there are only 12-15 known examples (and I've only seen 3 with the box) it is possible no one else has the white boxed version. In that shape probably would command low 5 figures if authenticated at legit
  12. Hulk is incredibly rare but was only released in red box, as far as I know. Can mrs hado get a picture??
  13. Not a real book There has been talk that was 2 copys of #1 out there right. I know this is a photocopy that Matt did of what he said the book would look like i was told. No ones ever produced so I say nay
  14. someone mentioned they were watching offers and bids...surely they can provide a line?
  15. is there a link to where complete crypto novices can watch any offers on this particular coin? I googled but nothing came up (that might be a bad thing I suspect)
  16. A show of hands of anyone interested in this
