  1. my guess is the last buyer bought with that intention, only to find out it couldn't otherwise, why would it be for sale again so quickly (just speculating here)
  2. That was entertaining, but I'm just not feeling the sincerity.
  3. Hey, I can cook and also design woman's clothes and I cry at movies. ...but tell me, how? Because you like Coldplay. I like coldplay
  4. Why would you even pass on information relayed to you be such an obvious person_too_unaware_of_social_graces? Frankly, I'm disappointed in you, Rick, for dredging this muck back up to the surface. Apparently, poor taste needed a spokesperson. because he politely asked me to, however, don't confuse a messenger with a spokesperson... I found it interesting that the book actually graded 9.2 (speculating on how, but that is a different story) (thumbs u Dear Rick, It was so nice to see you on the boards again, I'm glad to see that you're doing well. If you wouldn't mind a favor, I'd like to kindly ask that you give me your Action 1. If it's not too much trouble, any Detectives you have in your posession would go nicely with it too. I wish you all the best, Dan I asked politely... (this one is for Doc)... "no"
  5. that 5guys burgers is pretty good too...yum their fries suck though Not so, sir. 5 guys is the Never heard of 5guys. Just looked it up and saw that there is one about 5 minutes away. run, don't walk!!! They opened one right around the corner from where I work, but they opened it the week after I had my heart attack. I've not had a burger since, and it's like torture for people to tell me how good their burgers are. All the guys at work eat them in front of me making their orgasmic noises. I've never had one, and probably never will. my brother in law had quadruple bypass a few years ago...but, if you do anything in moderation, the doctors allow him the occasional burger...maybe you can too Oh, I'm allowed to have a sin meal from time to time, but I'd have to blow a whole month's worth of sin days just for one of their burgers. Do you realize how hard it is to eat well without a sin day for a whole month? truthfully no, I don't... in fact, ciorac told me just yesterday that I have the WORSE eating habit of anyone he knows... probably would be smart for me to start eating healthy, but it is TOUGH.. I can't imagine a month (heck, I can't go a day)... but, treat yourself at least once (thumbs u
  6. at Pier Park... my family and I will be there for lunch on Saturday ...about a 30 minute drive from Lynn Haven, but generally worth it I forgot you were from LH....I lived there during my high school/middle school years. A. Crawford Mosley Yes sir..C/O 2001....Wasn't too long ago 1985 for me, but I am an old fart

  11. Rick I'm late to the game here. But this guy has shown himself to be an A-#1 tool here on the boards. Clearly, he was not on such a hiatus that he couldn't come on to gloat after he quickly got the book graded and somehow managed the raw grade he had assigned, both of which are Generous to say the least. Now I know you to be pretty much devoid of ill intent. And you tend to be very forgiving of people's transgressions in the comic world (Silver Age Comics and bluechip come to mind). That's your nature. But frankly (pun intended) you got played here. The only reason he had you post is that he's grasping for credibility straws. well, I am a forgiving type ... or maybe that should be but just to clarify, I never did any more biz with Silver Age nor do I recall ever "defending" or forgiving them
  12. that 5guys burgers is pretty good too...yum 5guys burgers are last meal worthy (thumbs u The news did a piece on them the other night. One 5 guys burger has the same # of calories as 2 quarter pounders from McDonalds. we have one on PCbeach now...going there for lunch on Saturday... on a side note, I am ready for some more bashing on the head for posting the scan, so let's have it... don't be shy! What's the point? I think, or rather I hope, you get the gist. No more Bonnie to Frank's Clyde. Let's just ban G.A.tor and Dr.Frankenstein! They are obviously working together.
  13. that 5guys burgers is pretty good too...yum their fries suck though but they give you a LOT of them

I just have one thing to say to you, and I think it says it all... there can be only ONE response to that:
  15. You got confused, ...That was via Email, ...I was trying to take you aside, but...if you insist, I'll find the ladder again...

  17. Nice pick-up. It sold for $1500+ last time. Very difficult book to locate in 8.0+. (thumbs u good pick up...

Frankly, I'm disappointed in you, Rick, for dredging this muck back up to the surface. Apparently, poor taste needed a spokesperson. because he politely asked me to, however, don't confuse a messenger with a spokesperson... I found it interesting that the book actually graded 9.2 (speculating on how, but that is a different story) (thumbs u How is that interesting considering he had the back cover cleaned? It's a slap to the face watching you post stuff on Frank's behalf - by acting as his messenger you're lending him an air of respectability that he does not deserve. I found it interesting because so many folks had problems with the grading of the raw book at higher than it was cracked out of the cgc case... whether it is frank, or you, or doc, or whomever, I would still "be the messenger" if asked, because it intrigued me..I am not making any comments on behavior displayed, etc... What people had problems with was the fact that the book was cracked out of a CGC 8.5 slab, manipulated and then re-sold at a higher grade without disclosing the manipulation nor the fact that it had previously been slabbed as an 8.5. What caused further problems was the lying about this - the spinning of tales saying it wasn't the same book, the book had been re-sold, etc, etc. And even more problems? The threats and references to sexual acts with peoples' mothers. Like Watson says, Frank is more than capable of speaking for himself (which he proved with his gloating post a couple of pages back), so I honestly don't understand why you don't feel like you're being used here  well, if I was used, nothing I can do about it now (thumbs u

I don't think anything I do or say will change anyone's opinion of Frank on these boards, and I am not trying too... would you agree?...so my posting doesn't lend or detract from the bed he made for himself here on the boards (thumbs u There are many folks who like to shoot messengers around here. They like to try to keep these boards free of unclean thought. you have to admit, it has stirred the pot a bit... maybe I can be the new "pot stirrer" of the boards and, one thing I know is that friends only say things to friends because they care , so for that, i am grateful

Besides, he can speak for himself, obviously. He's only using you due to your level of respect. How does it feel to be Frank's Mini Me? I see your point...what's done is done... on a side note, I would rather be your "mini me", but if not, I can stand on my own
