You need to get a life, I don't answer to you...you wanted to buy a book from me, you didn't pull the trigger, I sold the book early this morning. In my humble opinion sounds like sour grapes to me on your part. I do however want to respond to the rest of the members on here interested in hearing the truth, not some one sided conspiracy theory . I have sold.... I am certain more copies of Avengers #57 over the last 37 years Kryto has, no dought many, many more . This is not the same copy....period !
Can't believe you said that with a straight face. Jesus, how stupid can you get
i can't believe no ones correcting his spelling
dought = doubt
It's just a typo, the G is just above a B on a keyboard

I'm more interested in the fact that I could get better deals on the board if I offered crack in exchange for comics in 14% of sales threads
That's all the Brits.
Apart from me and you.
I prefer Mephedrone

It's like I'm in a courtroom.
If the book does not fit, you must acquit
I'm not Flee and this is huge... but
i'd say that proves it

this thread had accomplished what it set out to do, alert the cgc boards to how this particular seller approaches selling books... but if this particular seller doesn't comply to someone elses standards, then I am not sure I would say "dishonest', but more along the lines of "not disclosing to one's fellow boardies"
we would hope that we would be motivated to help each other out, but folks, come on, that just ain't the way the wheel turns
Stop with the logic, reason and open minded approach to this situation.
You're going to ruin a perfectly good thread.
Are you covering for Roy this evening Rick?

Honestly I'd be surprised if he doesn't disappear. If he does respond what can he say? Other than the obvious: "It's not the same book" or "I'm an insufficiently_thoughtful_person/sorry"
Either way he'll never be able to sell a raw book here again. I think people should have to earn the right to sell raw books...just a suggestion.
I wouldn't bet on that. You would be amazed at the memory lapses that occur around here.

Can we ask how much you sold it to him for?
$200
I thought it was a sale via PM, may have been lower?

I really would like to hear what Seller has to say on the matter, but the evidence is damning

Oh andre and imran are the new versions of george and rick ...and they are both knocking it out of the park

My latest addition. I need a 34!!!! Thanks to Imran and Rick
Congrats Andre, I'm glad you like the book, but it was painful to see it go.

How is the Icelandic volcano affecting you guys personally?
Not very sunny today, otherwise no difference

You know what I love? When a seller edits their original post with a big fat SOLD once a comic sells (flatrock02 is great at this). For those longer threads, it's sometimes tough to figure out what's not been taken. Periodic lists of issues still available are good too, but finding those isn't necessarily easy.
Not at all as important, but still something I like, is when that big fat SOLD does not replace the selling price. That way I know just what i missed out on by being late to the party.
I also still like this guy:
Right on all accounts....I don't understand the big fat SOLD replacing the selling price either.
Maybe the price listed wasn't the price it sold at?

A new addition to my low grade Pre-Robin (and Tec 38) Run!
"A laughing, fighting young daredevil who scoffs at danger like the legendary Robin Hood whose name and spirit he has adopted... " That's funny -- it seems obvious enough, but in all these years I don't think I ever knew that.
Actually I didn't know that either, but it is obvious if you think about it.

I have changed my buying methods of late, which is why I haven't won anythingHeck, I'd have bid on it if I knew Gator wasn't.Anything Gator doesn't bid on goes for a bargain.
Actually this is my first pre Robin Tec that either George or Rick haven't owned

and at quite the bargain too, makes it doubly sweetFinally got this book, first purchase for the year and I'm really pleasedIt was a bargain price, and you're right, it's doubly sweet

Agreed - or what I might do is crack it, carefully remove the brittle portions of the comic, maybe just cut the spine off and then re-submit
Didn't Jason Ewert do something similar?
-
Sigh... I really love this thread. Between this one and the Superman thread, a guy can really get his GA fix for the day, you know?
I should get my GA fix tomorrow
-
yah, crack it out Alex, and see if it's likely 99% cr/ow (thumbs u
only because of the PQ, which is probably some little spine split somewhere, on an otherwise nice paged copyNice pickup on the Tec #31, I'm surprised it sat there unsold for as long as it did.Or the spine may turn to dust but I'm sure it's 99% crm/ow
