  1. Hmm. I have been waiting and waiting for a pull back to buy a GSX1 9.6-9.8 CGC SS and the prices for the SS or non-SS just keep going up. I see Clink has a 9.6 and 9.8 SS up. Any ideas where both may end up? I waited to buy a Hulk 181 and missed the boat.
  2. I love CGC express drop off, though I wish the CGC signature booth wasn't located on the other side of the hall. Also, its great seeing all the wonderful books displayed. First time an auction house has displayed a book I have sold through them at a major con, one of my books on display at ComicLink. Very cool to see it there for the upcoming Aug auction. Beautiful weather down here for the show.
  3. Final Countdown!!!! Can't wait..... Have fun for all those going, happy hunting in the slabs or raws....CGC drop off here I come....
  4. EXACTLY. Next year if we get tix, crossing my fingers, we will just place for the items we want and see if this works. Perhaps going for everything hurt us? I'm curious if anyone out there just placed 1 item for the lottery and won that item? We will try that next year.
  5. My wife and I placed it for everything to see what would happen. I only really wanted the Lego Minifigures, my daughters opens and plays with them & The Flash autograph session for my daughter, she loves that show. She would have loved to meet them. I really wanted just the Supernatural autograph signing. Of all my friends going, we were the only ones to obtain something and for items we don't care for: I won Krypton autograph, I like the show, but didn't care for any autographs. My wife did get a Lego Millineum Falcon. We will skip that since my daughter doesn't like Star Wars. Oh well. Not buying any Lego Mini figures for crazy prices, daughter will get the knock offs when China makes them. Hope everyone else had better luck. At least I have 2-4 hours free time than standing in line for a 50/50 chance to win an item for my girl. Goal is Marvel signing for Agents of Shield, my daughter loves Agent Coulson. Every year we go to the booth in the AM ASAP but the line is already done with and tickets always gone. Seems like everyone has a secret entrance to be at the Marvel booth before the doors even open. Though I seem to see a Chandler (you know who you are) always there for every signing and wasting time trying to talk to everyone as the celebs are your best friend.
  6. Wife has her tix delivered, not waiting for mine. Can't wait. Cash ready to buy books and credit cards ready to go as well!!!!
  7. I did it w/ Dale when I was shut out the 1st time at SDCC a few years back. I have tix this year. Great books to buy from him. I always buy from him every year at SDCC. Class act!!! Nick
  8. Very good looking book and only going up in value!!!! Very clean. Congrats.
  9. Baltimore Con is ok. Awesome Con in DC is better and only an hour away from Baltimore. C2E2 is good. Awesome Con has a lot of stuff for kids and Science stuff, NASA is there. I actually prefer SDCC, WonderCon and Awesome Con.
  10. CC auction ends in 2 days. 2 Sigs and a sketch of Wolfsbane. Movie Coming. 1st New Mutants App. https://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=758718 Agent007
  11. I hope I win a good round for the Ace Parking!!!! I actually received a 1st round!!! I'm buying Monday. I always have received 3rd-5th round lottery dates. I'm so very happy!!!
  12. Goldenage of Marvel Movies & TV shows!!! I love it!!!!!!! DIS rocks..........Between Marvel & CW with my other shows, I'm glad I'm alive during this time.
  13. Hope it is true!! X-men books going up even more............can't wait to see what books get a price increase from the merger...... I wonder how QuickSilver is done? If at all...
  14. ComicConnect on 12/8/17 had a GSX1 9.8 CGC sale for a strong price for $8200. Anyone else have any GSX1 9.6/9.8 CGC or CGC SS or X94 9.6/9.8 CGC or CGC SS or higher recent sales not listed on GPA? I'm tying track books I have and want to purchase. I wish all the auction houses listed on GPA, would be easier.
  15. I have a GSX1 6.5 CGC SS. Recently purchased. Very pleased.
  16. I've been waiting for the stock market to crash as well. Hasn't happened yet. I'm betting AF15 will, but I've been wrong for years on that train.
  17. GSX1 9.8 CGC SS. Finally didn't lose!! Very pleased. All my auctions end in a 007 as well. I was debating on this book or the SC22 6.0. The SC22 went for a good deal, last ones were higher when I lost so I thought that SC would be around $9k. Oh Well. SC22 buyer got a steal.
  18. Marvel Graphic Novel 4 9.8 CGC SS w/ Sketch, 1st print Tracy, 1st print, head sketch and note, 1932
  19. Just saw it. Fantastic movie and I loved all the little Marvel hints. Went on line and missed a lot of easter eggs as well. Can't wait to see it again. One of my Fav marvel movies of all time. IMO - ties w/ CA: Winter Soldier as #1.
  20. I asked a few months ago for X-Files, IDW Publishing. Can this be done? Thanks.
  21. First Time in years I actually bought Tix myself. Bought Tix for my wife and I for ALL Days!! Yes. Didn't buy anyone on the boards due to know one wanted to team up.
  22. Who's free to try to tag team pre reg tickets??????? Hit me up w/ a PM!!!
  23. Good looking raw book. Congrats. 8.0 looks very clean. I wouldn't pay $25k for it. There was a 8.5 for sale on eBay for $23,000 with white pages I was negotiating with for a lower price and they then supposedly sold it. Hasn't popped up anywhere. I would pay no more than $20k for this book.
  24. I know people like him on the boards. I explained my poor experience with him on another thread. I would never buy from him ever again. I would avoid buying any raw books from him!!!!
