  1. Hi, I ran across a couple of issues that were produced by Daniel Raeburn at a half price books a few weeks ago. I'd never heard of it before but loved them as they gave me an insight to the creator. I'm just posting this so that if you've never run across these or are interested in some smaller press indy creators from a couple of decades ago that you'd have some context or interest in these. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Imp_(zine) http://danielraeburn.com/the-imp.html I picked up the Daniel Clowes and Chris Ware issues and dug them. Keep on keeping on-
  2. Local thrift store find for a buck. Love the mini comics from dvd's, action figures, and die cast cars.
  3. Hi, Covid is a killer for convention sales no doubt. You as a dealer have a ton of stock that you don't need to give ebay, comiclink, etc big loot percentages to for each sale. We can help you with that. Please see our recently updated site at www.comicecom.com ! We've been working with brick and mortars along with convention vendors to assist ecom development since onsite sales have rapidly diminished. Here at comicecom.com we offer a specialized comic book and eCommerce solution exclusively for the comic book crowd. Whether you have an existing site/sales outlet or not we'd love to discuss your needs and how we can help. During this downtime due to Covid now would be a perfect time to develop and improve your online presence as conventions have been put on hold, and the foot traffic to stores has been reduced. We're available to help your team increase online sales and develop shipping local pull list customers books directly to their door. Our team has decades of experience in comics, web development, site design, programming, and comic conventions. With our experience we've been helping clients leverage multiple sales channels (company site, ebay, amazon,,etc..) . PM me if you have questions and please visit our contact page here https://comicecom.com/contact-us/ if you'd like to schedule a free meeting! Cheers! Steven

  7. I didn't make it. I was stuck at Casa de la Moreno as my kid had friends sleepover and play minecraft online. Hope the dealers and buyers all did well.
  8. I've never found a 35 Center at Half Price Books until now. The thrill of the hunt and what you might find even if you've struck out at the same location 5 times in a row! Definitely needs cleaning. How much does Dr. J and Rick Barry charge for signatures?!
  9. So this happened at Half Price Books today!
  10. Hi, This Sunday there's a free con in South Milwaukee. I'm not setting up but got the postcard and didn't see it listed here. So I thought I'd share. If you're a daredevil interested in a live small comic convention (this place usually has about 10 different dealers ranging from low end golden and silver, mid-ish bronze, average copper/modern, and unsorted dollar bin feeders. Oh, and unsold oddball toys, cards, magazines, etc from 1990's to present.) http://epguides.com/comics/ Root River Center, 7220 W Rawson Ave, Franklin, WI 53132 Happy hunting, Steven

  17. Hi, I have several pieces from this book (Trekkie Toons) and other sketch/store material by the artist along with vintage Crumb copies/xeroxes/pieces. Everything I have screams mid/early 70's. Please note that none of this is original Crumb art. But hopefully early prints/copies. I sold a Wonder Warthog pen piece by Gilbert Shelton from this group. I'm looking to learn more about this and any recommendations on who to talk to about this. From one of the former owners Vaughn Ritchie of Austin Books & Fantasy on Lamar Blvd. https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=22090219
