    i keep coming back to this thread... not sure why... maybe its like a train wreak... however what i do know is i'm neither racist nor sexist... and if i don't like a movie it certainly doesn't make me either... and i'm offended for the folks who didn't like the movie... if there is a percentage of people who didn't like it because they were sexist... so... the movie certainly didn't tank and it hasn't affected her career in the least... I'm just tired of being put into any category because my opinion doesn't match up... and who the hell is afraid of a female lead?... who cares... I want a good movie and a good story... and I give a rats behind about what any of these actors think... they open themselves up for all the criticism the internet has to offer the minute they start pushing their agenda... the same as your doing now... and this thread is pushing way past the "POLITICAL POSTS ARE NOT WELCOME HERE"

    one of my all time favorite comic series.... i enjoyed season 1 ... even with some apprehension with the changes made... and i'm excited about season 2... I don't need the series to be identical to the comics... heroes or villains... I just want it close enough to be able to have fun watching it

    well maybe its one of those I need to revisit... I seldom hate a movie (there are a few LOL) and normally after some processing I'll give it a second veiwing... Phoenix had a great performance... its possible the movie wasn't up to my expectations which at some point is generally self correcting... heck a lot of the MCU/DCU movies people are hating on I can find something I enjoyed about it, even if its just watching our heros on screen... some productions are low budget (Blinky or Batinthesun... which I highly recommend checking out on youtube... and no not affiliated) but bring something to the table... anyways I think thats the most I've said in one setting here in a very long time LOL

    just have to say it was one of those movies that on first veiwing it was "meh" ... let it sit for awhile and watched it again... enjoyed it more the second time around
