  1. Glad it's going to a good home! I hope you like it. It's a neat little comic!
  2. After summering in Sarasota for the last few months, these decided to come home:
  3. True Comics had quite a few war themed isuses as did Real Heroes and Real Life Comics http://www.comics.org/series/271/covers/ http://www.comics.org/series/270/covers/ http://www.comics.org/series/12490/covers/
  4. Here's a couple of links to threads that will get you started: For the Nazi covers: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=3489178#Post3489178 And for the Japanese war covers: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=4918098&fpart=1

  7. "very, very happy" I would hope so! Those are phenomenal! Congratulations!
  8. Flew home from Chicago last night (a bit of an ordeal because of all the storms in the Midwest... thoughts go out to the folks in Indiana after the deaths at their state fair). Some purchases: Another one of those "where's Waldo?" Hitler covers. Thanks to Harley for this one: Pretty severe miscut, but a nice book. Always liked this cover with the skeletal Nazi peeking in from the side.
  9. Now, that's a great bunch of comics! Congrats, GAtor!
  10. Very nice (and I think a comic that doesn't get the love it deserves). Congrats!
  11. This one has it all: pieces reattached, tear seals, cleaned, reinforced, trimmed... well at least the restorer didn't color touch it and really hurt the value.
  12. That's a great looking book! It does seem to be a toughie.
  13. One of my favorites! And this one is a beautiful copy.
  14. A couple of Timelys that I picked up at Heroes and submitted for grading came back today:
  15. A mad monk... (thumbs u A redhead in chains... A headsman with an axe... A Nazi knight on horseback...
  16. And this one might be the only cover depiction of the Italian Axis forces (outside of the images of Mussolini):
