  1. Yeah but only if you make sure to not call them first.
  2. I got these two from the same seller, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but the art on some of the Silver & Bronze Age romance covers is just great. cover by: Jay Scott Pike cover by: Jack Sparling Got this one for, literally, a few bucks. I'm pretty happy with this one. This one came from the same seller as the ToS above.
  3. About price, I am planning to sell it, but I have no idea how to price it. Can you give me an advice about FMV of this book? Not really. I don't see them come up for sale very often. Even when they do I don't really track sales on them but I've seen them not sell at $75 and go as high as $150. Not sure if that helps.
  4. I Ggggggggggggot my eye on youuuu........ I hear some grinding and non-oiled squeaking, it must be all those darn Planning cogs and gears inside my head... Sssslooowly starting to move ....they will soon be in full movement You don't even want to know what I ended up paying for that one. It's one of the two copies I've seen for sale and the other one was in a set that a guy had with the FF 1-6 issues but he wouldn't break them up. I still can't seem to find #s 3,4 & 6. Everyone has a breaking point....you will break like a twig.... The Sith will rise again My breaking point for buying this one was north of what I paid for my Novaro HoS 92 and you know how high I went on that.

  6. And to think I've only been collecting foreign for a little over three years. Imagine what it would be like if I'd started sooner. I might cause you to have a nervous breakdown.
  7. Nice grab. I picked up one of those about two years ago. I've got a few of the Alan Class and L. Miller books that reprint Marvel stuff. The first one, Out of This World, reprints AF #15.
  8. I keep trying to stay geared towards my focus of Adams & Wrightson books but when stuff like this turns up I find it almost impossible to resist. It might be easier to make a list of things I'm not interested in at this point.
  9. +1 I haven't owned a long box in years and will never own one again.
  10. Here's an updated group of thumbnails with all of my Spanish language Marvels.
  11. Just got this one from Chespirito. Thanks Hector! (thumbs u
  12. I picked up these two recently. The Mexican JIM 83 came from Chespirito and the Pence 109 came from Dale Roberts at Motor City Con. Many thanks to Hector and Dale. (thumbs u
  13. I believe so. I'm not 100% certain though. There's a few guys here that are probably much more qualified than me to answer that question. I'm sure at least one of them will chime in. (thumbs u
  14. Just picked these up off Chespirito. Both of them are the only SS copies. Big shock there I'm sure.
  15. There's nothing wrong with posting them. Keep in mind this thread is all about showing off the foreign books you have regardless of what they are. (thumbs u
  16. That looks to be about as thick as an Overstreet price guide. Is it?
  17. Pif is not "obscure" by any means. In France it probably peaked to print runs much like those of Spider-Man or Astro Boy for the japanese. How about I rephrase it to: Is there anything you don't know about foreign books that are obscure to those of us in the US?
  18. Seriously..WTF is that????It's borderline creepy Pif Gadget has been one of the most important french antologic comic magazines: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pif_gadget I have a friend which worked for them in the 1990s. One of our top Disney artists, Giorgio Cavazzano, also worked for the magazine: Claudio is there anything you don't know about obscure foreign books?
  19. I just want to give a shout out to Sharon & Tonya from Desert Wind. I took a book to Motor City for Hector (Chespirito) to sub for SS and they did a great job.
