I'm kind of enjoying the differences in colors of Doom from all the different countries. Pink, blue, yellow, purple, green... it fits the '60s psychedelic motif.

Superman 29, from March 1989. My parents went to Germany in 1990, and they brought me back a copy of this issue. Its one of my favorite comic possessions. I believe its the unofficial start of Dan Jurgen's run on the series. The one thing that will cost you the most is the amount of time it takes to find out how many countries published it and then tracking them down. Most likely when you do find them they won't be terribly expensive. If it helps... I'm sure Zinco (Spain) probably published it and maybe Vid (Mexico) as well. I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I come across any. (thumbs u

Hey now! What exactly do you mean by that? Oh wait... nevermind... you're right. I'm definitely interested but I've gotta finish residing the house and get it refinanced first. If you're not in a hurry to move them the whole process shouldn't take more than 3 or 4 weeks. It depends on the issue (which dictates demand), which countries it was printed in (some are harder than others to get books from) and how patient you are. In a fair amount of cases it's not a matter of them being expensive so much as it is the amount of time it takes to track them down. What issues are you thinking of doing this with?

I couldn't tell you on the US stuff but the market on the foreign ones seems to be growing.

Love the IM #54 and Subby #59. I always thought those two, along with IM #66 made a cool three book set.

I thought I'd post these here as some of you may not venture into Comics General and might appreciate seeing them. I've been working on completing runs of Neal Adams and Bernie Wrightson covers from other countries. The one country that has probably the greatest amount of US material published is Mexico. One publisher specifically, Editorial Novaro, put out an absolutely staggering amount of DC material from the Silver Age through the mid 1980s. Finally after a little over three years I have completed two of the runs I've been working so diligently to complete. I'm very close to being done with a few more but these are the first ones finished. I'm fairly confident they're probably the only runs of their type in the US. Now... on with the show! Spectre Granted there's only four Adams covers in this run but, ask anyone who knows foreign books, these are very difficult books to find. Unexpected Again not a large run, only nine books with Adams covers but it still took over three years to track down copies of them all.
