  1. So I've decided to really focus and am trying to finish off a few of the Editorial Novaro runs of Adams and Wrightson covers I've been working on. Here's a list of the books I'm really looking to get. I can do cash or trade for them. (thumbs u Mi Gran Aventura Serie Aguila 2-154 (Swamp Thing 10) Cuentos de Misterio 163 & 231 (House of Mystery 179 & 191, also need HoM 204 but I don't know the Novaro issue number) Baticomic 54 (Brave and the Bold 93) Historias Fantasticas 223 (Teen Titans 14) Superman 908 (Superman 243) Titanes Planetarios 311 (Strange Adventures 215) Relatos Fabulosos 136 (House of Secrets 84) Historias Fantasticas there's three I need but don't have the Novaro issue numbers (Phantom Stranger 5, 8 & 9) If anyone has any of these and is willing to sell or trade here's a link to my Photobucket so you can see what I have available. Just click on "Foreign Editions" on the left and it will display the folders which are broken down by title. Most everything is available but I won't trade any Adams or Wrightson issues I don't have duplicates of though. Link to Photobucket
  2. I've noticed them starting to sell at higher prices over the last 6-8 months or so particularly if they have the posters intact. Higher grade obviously is better but I'm sure you already know you don't see a whole lot of them even in mid-grades, usually more in the Good to VG range.
  3. That would be more interesting if I didn't have a nicer one.
  4. Nice, that's from the Aparo run in Adventure Comics. Great stuff.
  5. I just seem to run across them. Here are all of them I have.
  6. Here's a Greek Spidey 1 & AF 15 I picked up. And here's a Novaro Batman 221 I grabbed. This is the nicest copy I've seen of this book.
  7. That's not true. I own the two highest known grade copies of a book and they're simply not for sale regardless of what someone offers. yeah but like you say tim, its just a matter of time before another at same grade will pop out CGCed right?? there are 58 copies of the highest graded ASM129... and EVERYTHING is for sell except the Mona Lisa... maybe not yours but another at same grade will pop out with patience just like you say of the aussies and thats proving true It's doubtful with the books I'm talking about, climate and storage conditions are way worse where they're from. It's possible but highly unlikely.

  9. Look for these variants to SKYROCKET!!! not by percent but by exponentially!!! There are extremely rare and demand is 10 times the supply... notice how there is literally only one Australian version on the boards. EVERY Aussie dealer is looking for them with no luck as the majority they suspect were trashed as they preferred the original. Scarcity trumps originality in this special case... I disagree about them being that scarce. I guarantee there's plenty of copies out there in boxes of drek that no one has gone through in years because as far as they knew no one would ever want these books.
  10. When it comes to Cardy you can't discount the romance books he did either. Those are some of my favorites that he did. If you haven't seen them I definitely recommend checking them out. (thumbs u I took a look at a gallery of Cardy's romance covers, he could draw some beautiful girls! Indeed he can. He is still around.

  12. The one you're referring to isn't exactly a secret, there's a seller on ebay that's got a CD with scans of about 1500 Arabic books which includes it and there was a copy recently listed in a lot that sold on a BiN.
  13. If this is the case you're not paying close enough attention. There's been a steady increase in prices realized for them over the last couple of years. There are people out there that have taken notice of how scarce some of these books can be to find and the market for them is increasing.
  14. On the foreign books there's no standard. It just depends on how tough a particular books is to find and whether or not you're willing to wait for another copy to possibly turn up which could take weeks, months or even years. You also have to toss the concept of grade right out of your thinking process as in many cases it's difficult at best to find a copy let alone a mid to high grade copy. It's easier to find a whole lot of Golden Age books in the 6.0 or better range than the majority of foreign editions.
  15. Roughly a day and a half left. (thumbs u Final Ending tonight and from the looks of it there's some bargains to be had.
  16. Yep, the posters are intact. Oddly enough both books have the same poster in them.
  17. I'm partial to the #232 as well, I don't even care what country it's from. (thumbs u
