I still need to get one of those myself. It's such a great cover, Adams pencils and Cardy inks. This baby should be getting to me soon! It´s a sentimental favorite of mine as it was the only complete Batman Neal Adams Novaro I remember owning as a kid before my Mother burned all of my collection as punishment! At the prices they are going now, I´m sure she regrets having done so! or, then again, maybe not! -

If I remember right a good amount of the European stuff was printed in Italy at one point. Spain too if I'm not mistaken. Italy may have a lock on the market now with Panini printing as much as they do.Its important to remember that Canadian edition books are in fact printed and made in the U.S. Canadian edition or Canadian cover price variant comics are American. They`re shipped over the border to a Canadian distributor. They are all printed at the same facility (U.S newsstand, direct and Canadian newsstand.) The same cant be said for foreign books. There is a good reason why some people (Americans too) are getting serious about these comics. For the last couple decades most U.S. comics have actually been printed in Canada, so it would be the U.S. editions that get shipped over the border.
It should be noted that SOME (certainly not all) foreign comics have been printed in the US over the years, including some UK editions, some Mexican editions (also printed in Canada too I think) and many many others. Its just not consistent and not always easy to track where they were printed.
It should also be noted that for foreign editions, there's a decent chance the comic was not printed in the same country it was sold in, especially in Europe where countries are so close together and trade is so easy, but supplies and labor are so much cheaper in some countries. For example, it wouldn't surprise me at all if German comics were/are printed in Poland.
So if you want to start hunting for original printing country.... well good luck.

I finally got things organized to the point of separating what I'm definitely keeping and what I'm willing to let go. Here's a link to my Sell/Trade folder in Photobucket. If anyone sees anything they're interested in just shoot me a PM.
This is a short list of high priority Editorial Novaro books I'm looking for:
Mi Gran Aventura serie Aguila #2-154
Cuento de Misterio #163 #231 & serie Avestruz #24
Superman #908
I'd be interested in pretty much anything by Adams or Wrightson that I don't already have and am always looking for just about any National Bookstore and Goodwill Bookstore editions from the Philippines. (thumbs u

There were two bookstore chains in the Philippines at the time that printed not only their own material but re-printed material from the US, both Marvel and DC.These are from the Phillipines? What is the story behind these bookstore editions? -
Those are some nice looking copies. Nothing that fits my focus though.

You're in for it now. Welcome to the looney bin.
