  1. I wonder if that was his original offer price or if he just took a lowball offer
  2. Kudos right back at you Mike! Couldn't ask for an smoother transaction or an easier person to deal with
  3. I don't think that would really serve as a draw back. There would just be a a lot more and posts in threads and new topics started about nothing to boost post counts I joined in July and I've seen people who joined the same time as me with thousands of posts already
  4. After I took back the HP 8500 I went on craigslist and picked up a HP 7130xi and below is the result.
  5. That was the first one that I had tried myself. Nothing made the images clearer I took it right back to costco.
  6. Kudos to lizards2 for being the first buyer in my first sales thread and for the kind words. I really apreciated it (thumbs u
  7. That is awesome. It's one thing to buy a book with the grade already known, entirely different to see one that you actually send in come back like that. Congratulations
  8. Two beautful books there I want that issue of Sgt. Fury, I key in on those every time they pop up at an auction but someone always wants it a little more
  9. No, but they sent them with a certificate of authenticity which is nothing more than a piece a copier paper with a stamp
  10. I didn't even notice that the first time but you are right
  11. Finally after a 5 week wait my mound city books arrived
  12. , I remember that one, why, Why did my pair have to be so small that night Great pick up
  13. Just got this in the mail today! One my my favorite covers
  14. Deadpool is the last major character? Really, wow that's not saying much for the comic industry. exactly, I was out of comics between 1994 to 2007, I came back expecting that I would have to find out all new information about all the new keys I had missed in those 13 years, instead all I found out was the same top keys in 1994 are the same keys today. I didn`t miss much, it`s like I never stopped collecting in a timewarp sort of way. I thought I was the only one! My wantlist from 20 years ago is pretty much the same. The only unfortunate thing is that the prices didn't stay in that time warp. The books I couldn't afford then are the same ones I can't afford now
  15. Go Euro Joe! Just found these in the closet. Don't know if anyone has posted these in here, so i figured I might as well post them
  16. Yes, my scanner doesn't do so well with the thick annual slabs for some reason
  17. Sweet copy. Open question -- how's the story in this issue? All these years I assumed this book was all reprints; I just recently noticed that the Spidey/Hulk cover image is for a new story. I've never seen this story referred to anywhere, so I'm guessing it wasn't exactly a keeper. It is a new story although it was only 21 pages. I haven't read it in 22 years mind you but I always loved that issue. I always liked when there were a ton of guest appearances. In this one the Avengers were trying to recruit Spider-Man. Spider-Man also learns that the Hulk is David Banner so there were some things going on in that story
  18. Just got this one in the mail yesterday For some reason I have been focused on the annuals.
  19. Here is the only one that I have slabbed so far. It was one of the first comics I ever bought
  20. , I'm all to familiar with that. I see purple spots all summer long now from the numerous times I've had heat stroke. Finally has cooled down though, Halloween is basically the start of the under 100 degree weather
