  1. Awoke this morning with the indelible imagery of the Shazam! movie in my head and picked up tickets for the first screening in RealD 3D. Gotta see the Rock of Eternity scenes in its full glory as the filmmakers intended. Woo-hah, got you all in check!
  2. I thought it as very gracious and classy of DC Films to include Jerry Ordway in the end credits. Would love to have a giclée print of this classic Ordway Power of Shazam cover art. Would look fabulous framed on my office wall...
  3. A movie so nice I saw it twice! Provocative and compelling, far surpassed my expectations and stayed for the 7:00 PM showing as well. Screenwriter Henry Gayden scripted an authentic Fawcett Captain Marvel Adventures morality tale which would have made Otto Binder extremely proud. Every child on the planet needs to see this movie. I've always considered Joe Johnston was channeling Michael Curtiz from beyond in his direction on Captain America: The First Avenger as it could have been filmed by Curtiz himself. Shazam! is so elegant and artistic of a motion picture, Sandberg and Alexandre are the new Welles and Toland for the next generation.
  4. Been waiting my entire comic book aficionado life for this and truthfully thought this would never happen in my lifetime. Kudos to Peter Safran and David F. Sandberg for this opportunity to be entertained by my ultimate favorite Super Hero on the big screen. I'm prepped and going in.... see all you Shazamites on the other side!
  5. I'll be giggling at Saturday's advanced screening of Shazam! knowing everytime Sivana consults Sandberg's custom made Magic 8-Ball, on camera Mark Strong is reading this...
  6. "SHAZAM!" Easter Eggs are awaiting us hardcore Fawcett Original Captain Marvel fans!
  7. Holy Moley!! I need one of those Captain Marvel Jr. Plush Dolls! Anyone know where I can score one?
  8. FWIW, any boardies residing in the LA area, tickets to attend the World Premiere of Shazam! in Hollywood are available via 1iota.com for Thursday, March 28th.
  9. Zachary Levi and Ron Perlman TV cross-promotion for Chuck and Hellboy II: The Golden Army from 10 years ago. Pretty cool.
  10. Finally, a Shazam! cast interview where a numbnuts interviewer doesn't ask the inane fluff piece question "If you could have one superpower, what would it be?"
  11. Perfection. Like a throwback photo from 1940's Hollywood when movie stars had bona fide personality and charisma.
