  1. New Shazam! Movie still with Freddy and Captain Marvel. Let the hype begin!
  2. Aquaman was very light. But kids do like to see kids in the role of hero. My daughters love Power Rangers episodes on Netflix and it could be because the actors are more relatable. Power Rangers spins me back to 1972 when "Kikaidā" was first broadcast on my local Japanese TV station. It was such a phenomenon hit tokusatsu live action show all the elementary school kids imitated him and do his Kikaider stunts in the playgrounds. It was mass insanity. I grew up watching old Gigantor and Astro Boy cartoons but Speed Racer was my favorite. DC's Justice League's Cyborg resembles Kikaider without the martial art stance.
  3. Great to see Jack Dylan Grazer trade in his Adidas for a more stylish cap. Befitting.
  4. Latest movie still showcasing Dr. Sivana. The costuming on this film is stunning.
  5. Imaginative and well constructed fan art recreation of Norman Rockwell's "The Runaway," Saturday Evening Post Cover featuring Captain Marvel and Freddy Freeman.
  6. Thanks, I hope so too! I'm looking forward to a joie de vivre feature film much like Joe Johnston's Captain America: The First Avenger. The Original Captain Marvel/Shazam! has been sorely missing from the mainstream and hopefully this intelligent and elegant major motion picture will reintroduce his rich mythological fables to a new generation of youngsters who might imagine themselves as super heros.
  7. Happy Christmas Shazamites! Only 102 days to go for Shazam! Movie theatre release. That's 14 and a half weeks to you and me.
  8. "Some of you may be wondering why he's inserting a Twizzler into his arm." Humour to the tenth power like this is like listening to National Lampoon and Firesign Theatre comedy records in the '70s. "I'll buy the g_dd_amn stamp" is still part of my vernacular to this very day.
  9. On a visit to Leavesden Studios in 2004 I was priviledged to watch Daniel Radcliffe wired up on his Quidditch broom filming a blue screen flying scene where Harry's chasing the Golden Snitch thru a rain and ice storm with the Dementors attacking in "The Prisoner of Azkaban." This BTS film magic on the Shazam! Movie is just as awesome to be able to see...
  10. More Shazam! Movie teasers from David Sandberg? Gonna have to re-read my copy of Shazam! Issue #14 as it was 1974 when I last read The New Monster Society of Evil story. I'm also a big fan of Cinefex, an outstanding quality magazine. Cinefex #95; Cinefex #75; Fangoria #217; Fangoria #278
  11. Thanks to the genius of France Herron and Mac Raboy, the legacy of Freddy Freeman and Captain Marvel Jr. began 77 years ago today and soon to be immortalized in film.
  12. Every DCEU demented Internet troll bashing David Sandberg and the Shazam! Movie in social media should be forced to watch this latest interview with Zachary Levi to understand a little something about the character of Captain Marvel aka Shazam! Learn it. Know it. Live it.
  13. As Zac affectionately refers to Asher Angel and Jack Grazer as "the two knuckleheads," the fun and unique effortless chemistry persona between these young gentlemen actors plays so attractively well together on camera you can easily build a Hollywood star vehicle "Road" picture around these two as the new Crosby and Hope.
  14. Superb photo of Jack on set with Zac and Asher. If we could see a photo of Jack in a blue suit and red cape, this movie would become an instant blockbuster epic film....
  15. Cool BTS peeks of the additional photography on the Shazam! Movie filming in Toronto.
  16. Just a flesh wound. They brought him back a few issues later. "Aren't we gonna see the basement?"
  17. Newly updated and refined DC Films & WB official movie logo for the Shazam! Movie.
  18. A titan has passed as well as an era of tremendous creative influence on our culture. Long live Stan Lee.
