  1. He got some really cool books up for sale right not for sure.
  2. Very unique item. I've been contemplating a while back for the one that's been on Ebay but didn't snatch it. As I re-called, it didn't have the full reprint of SC22 right?
  3. you should have posed a SC 22 at the table No greens in this photo yet.
  4. This turkey has been a sleeper and have outperform all other beasts. I've been a true believer and may be biased. Let's see if this beast has wings and will make for next Thanksgiving. Happy Turkey day everyone.
  5. I be smokin' turkey pardner. Deep fried huh?
  6. Last 1.0 Plod GPA is $320 in March.. so considering all things..the $500 is slightly high, but not crazy. And with 1.8 and up at $600+ in Universal and climbing, and last 1.5 at $430,there isnt much room for a 22 under $500...Plod or Universal.....just saying. Prices are a bit silly right now, but it is the more affordable way to own a piece of the pie. I don't know, as an owner of a lower grade copy I think the prices are too low right now and need to run up even further. Well, if an AF15 1.0 can sell for $1600+, why not a SC22 1.0 for $800+. Time will tell. The two big boys of SA. AF 1.0 at $1600+ is way overpriced for such a common book. All kidding aside, there sure seems to be a lot more of them around than SC #22's the difference is there is a lot more demand for AF15, hence the higher price, relative to supply and demand (Thumbs u That and the fact that lower grade copies are the only way most collectors can afford to own the book now. I often wonder how much longer people will be willing to spend $10K for a low grade to lower mid grade copy of a relatively common SA key? What if SC22 has just half the demand like an AF15. What would cause to the price with only 1/4 supply vs, AF15. If you guys are really hoping that SC 22 will overtake AF 15, I'd like to get a hit of whatever it is that you guys are smoking! Or too much drinking . Just hoping for 50% demand like an AF15.
  7. Yesiree! Up 100%+. You are doing very well.

  11. Looks like a 1.0-1.5 to me. Yeah, a bit wee much for the grade.
  12. If 1.0 is to high of a grade, here's a complete coverless.
  13. I wonder with a little work it might still be a 1.0.
  14. That was a decent price for the buyer for a quick flip. A 20-25% return will be decent in a few minutes of work. Sent an offer of $2g We're talking about thousands right not grams. Maybe $2.3 grams
  15. Here's a slight restored 1.0. Let's see how long this will last. http://cgi.ebay.com/SHOWCASE-22-CGC-1-0-1ST-GREEN-LANTERN-HAL-JORDAN-1959-/360322183268?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item53e4e03064

  17. Wow makes my 1.8 look pristine. Might be time to move my undercopy. Your copy looks much better than that 1.0. Looks like you are going to have a handsome profit.
  18. yer makin' me green with envy 'cause Spiderman is KING in the SA age and SC22 is second.
  19. There is already a strong bid for the 3.0. Did anyone see the 1.0 copy Harley sold today. http://cgi.ebay.com/SHOWCASE-22-DC-1959-FAIR-500-/350411019239?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51961fd3e7 Raw low grade copies are moving briskly.
  20. Showcase 22 CGC 3.0 off-white pages http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?back=%2Fsearch.asp%3Fwhere%3Dsell%26title%3Dshowcase%2B22%26x%3D0%26y%3D0%26ItemType%3DCB&id=868730
  21. for being too soon. I did the same with the early copies of SC #22 I gathered as well. At least you were profit taking and not a short seller.
  22. Congrats! This books is well worth the wait. Wow, these RM's is preservation at it's best. I love how fresh and rich color the RM's are. I really need to a a RM to my collection.
  23. What's gonna happen to the 7.5 you had bought? He is going to sell it for dirt cheap to the first boardie to contact him about it since he does not need it any longer. Suuuuuuuuure he is He might as well. The book will drop big time now that the 8.5 has traded hands just like every other SA or BA book - they are all common in mid grade. Yes, very common. It took me over 3 years to find a SC23 in 7.5 and it's a dream to acquire a 8.5. We are talking very early 60's DC right.
