The 7.5 for $5K was a steal and a 8.0 recently sold for $10K. The market now wants 1 1/2 guide on 2.0-5.0 and no bite yet....time will tell.

I'm debating whether or not to sell my 1.8 SA now or wait, any ideas what slightly color touched books are worth nowadays? I don't know but considering that this book only has a few dots of color touch and nothing else I'd say the price disparity is pretty silly based on my experience. Just a few small dots of CT on the spine line and nothing else. I agree about the price disparity being silly. I have a GL 7 with a tiny amount of CT on the bottom of the spine and I know I could never recover the cost of the book just because of the minor resto. Nice copy. I wonder with resto removal, it will garner a 5.0 grade.

I think you have presented your SC22 in the club? What happened with me is in an experiment when I got back into comics I bought low grades SC22,23,24,GL 1 and 7 in early 2009 for combined $300, sold them about 14 months later for about $1200, talk about profit, that`s when I realized the movie hype factor does place a role in this thought process, my only regret was in early 2009 I didn`t buy a few higher CGC grades. This proved to me if you buy the right books and know when to sell them you can make quite a profit. Kinda like buying ounces of gold or Apple stock. So yeah congrats to all the people who still got thier SC22. I am going to try again after the movie. Wow, you bought SC22,23,24,GL 1 and 7 in early 2009 for combined $300, and that is a great deal. At that price, I assume the average grades would be a 1.0-2.0. Great flip for sure. SC22 could be like an Apple stock; hence, movies, toys, cartoons. The Green Lantern enterprise is diversified. I say, find the good deals now, before GL gets more mainstream.

Obviously, the lower end 1.0-2.0 are just more affordable for most folks. What I find interesting is a nice eye appeal AF15 1.0-2.0 goes for $1800-$3000 and SC22 1.0-2.0 $300-700. SC22 goes for less than 1/4 of AF15 in those grades. My prediction is if GL can make it to the third movie, I see the low grades to be 1/2 of AF15. Your Spidey run is doing quite well and 70's prices are always welcomed. I'm missing issues for 4-8 and my others from 10-30 are mainly low grade raws. I'll slowly work on them to preserve the fun!

Very solid book! Should deserve a premium over most 6.0's.

This Showcase 22 sales list is definitely more complete that any other out there (boardie data sale too). My first love <3 SC22, and I have committed to at least till the GL movie. Also, I will not be selling any of my holdings 5.0+ till at least then or maybe never I was thinking about doing an AF15 list last year, but it will be just too overwhelming since there is many more AF15's than SC22's. Anyways, it's been a lot of fun...riding this roller coaster and chatting with everyone.
