It's a combination of things but mostly it's probably the fact that if a Showcase #22 will sell for those prices then a collector might think why not B+B #28? Right now the market is valuing a SC22 1 1/2 time a BB28 in most grades. The question is is...will BB28 catch up. to SC22. In time, SC22 will be the most valuable DC SA, next BB28, and then SC4.

BB28 didn't go anywhere from 2006-2009, movie...what movie, no need for a movie. I guess the market is realizing this book is undervalue compare to Marvels.

Well its a 8.0 copy in disguise so it might be close. Quite a big bump, I have to say.

It's going to be interesting to see if the 9.0 will break $20K now.

probably about fmv...but, it is what it is (thumbs u I thought about bidding on it as well. Just have too many other books in my sights right now... Interesting to see the trend of this book the next few years.

I know where there is a 1.0 right now (sitting in a 2.5 holder), can be yours for $199K If that is the one with the chunk missing....I don't like that copy at that price. $199k

I like the cover BB28 over JLA1, SC22 over GL1, F105 over SC4, Adventure 247 over JLA1, SC4 over JLA1, Adventure 247 over GL1, SC22 over BB28, F105 over GL1.

I have been offered a 7.5 but the asking price is $8k. Given the 8.0 sale at $10k, does anyone see this as a reasonable price to pay for a nice looking 7.5 ? A 7.5 recently for $5K which was a friendly price. For $8K, it's a bit high...$6-7K will be a FMV for it. (thumbs u Well whilst i would normally agree with you, given the fact that no copies are coming on the market and that the last 8.0 sold for $10k, i would think that $7k is now a minimum price for this book, especially in light of what people are saying regarding price hikes and scarcity. Obviously if you know of copies that are being sold for $6k in 7.5, then i would revise my estimate and ideally love for you to pass on the lead to me so that i can purchase it. That would be a good entry price for the 7.5. What I find interesting is BB28 contains the 4th appearance of SA Green Lantern and pre-dates GL1.

SC22 is on fire in raw or graded. Fade or no fade...tan or white...SC22 is becoming the KING for SA DC.

Looks like prices need to rise more for high grades BB28 or SC22. Time will tell when them come out of the wood works. Green Lantern is the starting trend for the DC movies.
