Green Lanterns are great shape. The treadmill will keep you in great shape too. I knew I'd get a comment about the treadmill. It's the new way to get your comics into better shape ! Yeah...thinking about it. For the convenience, I do need one at home...instead of heading to the gym.

Here's a good example. A high grade ASM 12 with three hole punch which will get a qualified grade.

Since you mention it's missing page 10 and it doesn't affect story...you can also request CGC for a qualified green label or universal label (will be lower than the apparent grade). (thumbs u

That's Awsome!!! I was wondering what happened,as one minute the auction was up,the next it was ended. And at $5850 didn't make sense with a clink 6.5 book bid up to $7000. that was kind of how we arrived at 6500...figured he was the offer on clink, but the seller would only net "6300" after fees... if my book sold for 7K on ebay, then I would "net" $6600-6700+ after paypal fees, etc...so, we "met" in the middle and the deal was done (thumbs u Would have love to see the ended price, but $6500 sets a record. It would have "looked" better on the tape. Congrats Rick! my gut was it would have ended over $6500 on ebay, but after fees and all, I would have only netted what I sold it for...and the buyer is a good guy and really wanted the book, so I consider that a win too... I did email George with GPA to set the sales price straight, so it get properly recorded in GPA (thumbs u Win...win...and they will keep coming back. Again, it was pleasure to see that 6.5 and the buyer made a wise and astounding choice.

very true...if the book ends where it is now, I will lose... if the book shoots up, I might "win"... but in the scheme of things, whomever really wants the book ,need only bid to win It should have no problem clearing $6K for you.

you know, that is what I just emailed to another perspective buyer... I would have to have at least 6501 to end the auction Sounds like someone thinks like I do. I'm watching it as well. You just never know who may bid on this baby. This is a sweet copy. Who will be the next 6.0+ club.

If you collect but don't flip, your collection is smaller than it otherwise could have been. I don't flip myself--at least not that often--but it isn't because it's evil, it's because I'm lazy. the funny/sad/ironic thing is some people here flip for less constantly so the collection is getting smaller and smaller. It's like trading stock...the house gets the commission. But for comics the commission can be 10%+

I know this 5.5 was bought by spiderturtle on Ebay for $3803 and then he re-sold it for $3995. If this is the same copy, it is 5.5 with off-white. Better PQ than my 5.5 though. Yes this 5.5 looks great in person! (thumbs u You had the opportunity to see in hand.
