I got a great deal on this issue of Flash, first appearance of Mirror Master. I would like to slab this and add it to my personal collection. The spine is completely split with both the back and front cover are detached. . I want to get the best grade possible, universal grade isn't so important to me. My questions: Would it increase the grade by having the cover restored and attached? What kind of grade range does a comic with completely detached covers usually get?

the book is highly recommended across the conservation scene. I'll stick with the goal. thanks.

Hey all, I'm scanning CGC slabs with my Plustek A320E CCD scanner. I am using default scanner settings. I'm getting quite a few slabs that have a weird green tint in the photo after scanning. I am wondering what settings everyone else is using? Thanks!

Hey everyone, I'm trying to perfect my eraser technique. I have bought the dry cleaning tools mentioned in the CPR book. I have tried for many days to develop a technique to erase without picking up color but I seem to always pick up color when I move away from the white. I see some Instagram posts where people clean quite a bit off of comics using erasers but every attempt I make and in color rub. I am currently using white polymer eraser tips. Any advice that you can give would be greatly appreciated.

I was wondering if anyone knew what kind of spotting this is. I'd like to remove it if possible. Dry cleaning produces nothing, no dirt or mold spores.

I'm curious on everyone's opinion about pressing an already high grade modern that I will send in to be slabbed. Does this help raise the likely-hood of receiving that 9.8? Thanks!
