CSG is super tough on surfaces anyways... Even new cards that are cardstock rarely get a 10.. Are you wiping the card down with micro cloth to make sure you didn't leave finger print? I know I had one card came back, that I saw a smudge on.. so they dinged me... I am like you, I like coating on, but I am guessing they grade the coating down too.... Looking at PSA 10's with coating there are a bunch of them.. wish we had a pop report and you could see really quick how many 10s CSG has done with coating on... but I do agree, the Manning has some peeling on that one...

Whatever you claim value as is the tier you pay for.. I have paid for $999 walk through, got an 8 and card sold for $199... they still charged me full amount on walk through... I look at tiers as how quick I want card back.... but that still doesn't matter... I have an EX order there now that they have lost box on, and it has been then now since May 20th... so take it with strong grain of sand.... and trust me, I have grade so many there now, a 10 IS SUPER HARD to get... always think 2 grades down... if you think it is a 10, expect an 8, and be happy when you get a 9..

Anyone know if CSG works on Sat? With as many packages they have to sort, and get mailed I sure hope so. Let's get thee paid orders out to people, and also find some of these lost boxes. Maybe even grade a few cards... Surely as big as company as they are they are going 6 days a week?? just curious.

Current status of CSG site.... I think they are using dial-up or Windows '97 with new system. Sigh. $20,000 plus in subs at their place, can't see orders, still have a box lost from 4 weeks ago. No return emails. I am in so deep with these guys, over 30 submissions... but I am not sending anymore to them, not until these things get fixed. I really, really wanted to love CSG, but this ain't cutting it. It's already hard enough to swallow the losses on the resell side, but now all this other stuff.. Paid for a submission 2 days, nothing moved over to shipping. Called accounting today, they had to send another email to update to have cards released from "safe", no updates... this is super frustrating.... but I am locked in... have 2500 + cards at CSG now, waiting to be graded.... sigh.

Yes, you are thinking 100% logical! Should be just like PSA, we should be able to see all the cards we subbed to them. This is rocket science... BTW- best you thing you can do is block the numbnuts who responded on your post, he is a clown show.

That I agree with 100%, everyone of these companies have different grading scales. Personally, I think CSG is hardest.

No, I don't. But I ask alot of questions, and have been doing this for 30+ yrs, plus been in lots of different sales. Why would you think that? Do you work for CSG? I don't work for any of them, as a customer they should work for me. It's how business works..

Last thing on this, I was told I could 100A% relist the cards they pulled, just couldn't use PSA/BGS etc in title... so there is that... all good. Really surprised this conversation is still going on... LOL! People have lots of free time.

Well, I agree with the "PSA 10?" in title... I hate those too.. I get it... BUT 100% disagree with not being able to use comparison advertising... It's basic 101 advertising.. every store in world does it, allows it... Amazon allows it... your local grocery store allows it... heck, even Ebay allows it, on certain items,.. I have both shipping boxes, and Ebay suggests cheaper knockoff style boxes... guess what, I bought cheaper boxes... People want value and deals.... "Buy CSG 9.5 and save over a PSA 9", that is not false, is not misleading.. 100% true. But, it's ebays world, they own the platform, so it is what it is.... Here is perfect example-- what does Tylenol have to do with CVS brand of aspirin?? " Cvs, don't put Tylenol on box if it isn't Tylenol".. Please let me know how that goes... LOL! Smh... so let's try again... Just say the truth, "I get upset when I try to search PSA cards and some put CSG in title. I want it my way"... and Ebay said, "Okay, we will cater to you".. which I am fine with....it's their platform..

The reason I included it is simple "Buy CSG 9.5, and Save over a PSA 9".. what part of that is false advertising? None. "Buy CSG 9.5, SAVE Compared to a PSA 9"... It's basic advertising 101... Millions, and millions of companies do this. Comparison advertising... tell me you understand this concept and have seen it. It is on every shelf, in every store all across the world. Only place I have ever seen anyone say "No, we don't allow comparison advertising" is Ebay.. why? Because people, I am guessing like you, got upset because when the put "PSA 10" in search bar, they got guys like me, who understand comparison advertising, to pop up in their searches... called EBay and complained or just flagged the post as "counterfeit"... Let's be real, that is what happened... You are proving my point, by going on and on about how you think it is keyword spamming.... I get it.. no biggie... It's EBay's platform, I will play by their rules... Doesn't mean I agree with them.. and I get your side too... All good.

yes, that is exactly what happened to mine.. they didn't shut down my account, but they deleted all the posts.. I had a rep actually me back, and explained why they were removed, and they said no further action against my account due to lenght I have been with Ebay, my rating, and volume I do.. so I just moved on.. I will tell you, I really has hurt my sales on EBay... Sold 0 CSG last week, and week before the removed my posts I did over $1,000... people are not looking for "CSG" in listing...

No joke. I have 3000 at PSA too. I picked these up after shutdown. I was not gonna pay $300 a pop. Why would you puke? Also, probably have graded more cards than you, so kinda know what I am looking for. Thank you for your opinion. And yes, the AI can mess up. Also, they have some human grading as well. Smh...

You killed it... that many 10;s in 114 card order might be all-time record. If there was a pop report, you probably have some POP 1's.

Because they are what we are used too. Why do guys on this board, and online get so defensive and take every post that is an ounce critical as though they are getting rejected by the love of their life? I really have never seen anything like the CSG diehards/Loyalists that will fight you to the end if you are critical. Obviously, I like CSG, I sent them 2000 cards. BUT NEWSFALSH it is 100% okay to like PSA as well. Your comments on here, if someone asks a question, or critques CSG, are always, "Casuals and Flippers", well some of us do this a business. It is 100% okay to question service, and return on investment. For the record, PSA does not have LAX standards, I just got a pack fresh pulled Jordan SP1 that got a 5. So, the myth they are easier, etc. Is that, a myth. I told a guy yesterday, PSA is a TOYOTA or Lexus... CSG, right now, is a KIA/HYUNDAI... FACT. For the record, I was a Kia General Manager, and I actually know the Kia is a great car, has great features, and even has better features than a TOYOTA. BUT, you aren't gonna get return trade-in value on a KIA like you do a Toyota. DOES NOT MEAN people overpay for Toyotas. They buy Toyotas, and pay more cause they know name, and recognize the brand. BUT once they drive, and buy a nice KIA Sonata, they usually come back to Kia, and buy more. Doesn't mean Toyotas instantly suck... why is so hard for guys who like, love CSG, to figure that out that it applies to PSA too?? PSA doesn't suck, they make more money on resell than CSG. I have had enough cards come back from CSG to see results. Doesn't mean CSG sucks... and it is 100% OKAY for guys to compare... this is a chat board. Guys like you are probably the reason I was kicked out of 2 CSG online rooms, cause they got their feelings hurt cause I was honest about CSG vs PSA. I personally like both, but I am not an insufficiently_thoughtful_person, or a shareholder in either. And yes, I am just critical on PSA too. You aren't the all knowing, and the guys in those CSG rooms, they aren't all knowing either.. and neither and I am. I do know sports cards, and the market, and obviously sales. 9's...9.5s.. I don't send in anything hoping for an 8.. ever. Been doing this long enough to know what an 8 looks like... esp when I am paying $30+ a pop on these....And I know centering is a nightmare on these..

Go to EBAY, type in Marvel Cards, CSG graded... if you don't see any graded ones, you have your answer. You can do that with pretty much any cards... Funny thing, they grade Donruss Marvel NBA cards.. I saw 0 MARVEL cards graded by CSG, but didn't look to hard..
