  1. Damn, I'm sorry I missed this
  2. In 16, Mystique is disguised, 17 she is Nick Fury, 18 is the first time you see her in her true blue form. Personally as a Mystique collector I have only minimal interest in 16,17.
  3. Sometimes you just have to let some books go. However.........I'm always willing to open a place in my collection should you ever decide to let it go!!!!!!
  4. I think Bronze age fan has the Wolverine. I used to send him a PM once a year to ask if it was for sale. He was always very polite in declining and I've since decided it's just not going to be in my collection and let it go.....
  5. If Hawley uses Brubaker's "Books of Doom" as a roadmap this could be awesome!!
  6. Hello! I was at the Denver Comic Con 2017 and had the great pleasure of meeting artist Victor "Vic" Carrabotta! He is incredibly sharp and remembers every piece of art he did in the books that were presented to him for a signature. I had a Journey into Unknown Worlds #47 signed by him and he went right to his complete story and told me, " This was the FIRST robocop story ever, before that new robocop stuff!" And sure enough the second panel depicts an steel/iron robot police thing! It was great talking with him. The question I have is that the current label for this book does not list him as an artist, so I would ask CGC to update the label to include Vic Carrabotta as artist. Thanks for the time! Troy

  8. It's not Hero Initiaitve's doing, it's DC that directed Hero not to sell the originals on Ebay. Why is still somewhat unclear but rest assured it's not Hero wanting to do the onsite "auctions."
  9. It was definitely true to the source material. I knew it was coming, fast forwarded through it, but still saw enough to say "Yahhh!!" Personally I have no horse in the race, it wont keep me from watching it, but it definitely is not for the timid. It's really a shame though, it was a great episode beyond "the scene" and not many are actually talking about it. I was worried they were going to skip the second checkers game, I'm happy they didn't. I found it odd they went all the way with the cab scene, but they were very conservative with the youngest sister on the rooftop. In the book it was implied you could see through her clothes and quite the opposite was true in the show. I think they cast Shadow perfectly as well.
  10. I think if you were just watching the show, with no knowledge of the Novel or Comic, you might not have made it past the first half hour. I personally enjoyed it, not 100% faithful to the book, but overall I saw enough to keep me interested.
