  1. Do DD fans prefer the yellow and red costume or the solid red?
  2. I think Daredevil #1 is still undervalued, would be a great time in to pickup in higher grade copy, where as most of the other Marvel SA keys are out of reach in high grade. Not sure about the last few years, but it was also one of the few modern Marvel books that was a good read. You had the Smith, Bendis, Brubaker runs which were fantastic. I wish I picked up one years ago but was finishing my X-men run.
  3. I thought the same thing, it looked so tight in the case, it looked like excessive moment could damage the book. Seeing that, I felt a bit hesitant to submit anything.
  4. Pages that are available of theirs were generally the pages split with the inker.
  5. Although younger, both Kubert brothers kept theirs on advice from their father.
  6. Amazing, you could have bought a lower grade major SA Marvel key for that kind of money.
  7. I'm not interested in selling, but I would interested in getting them graded as I believe they would be NM or better. I am going to wait 2 years, I would just wait longer to send them in.
  8. I have the 1st 10 2000 AD's to submit, should I wait?
  9. Not saying that there is a anything fishy going on, but it's odd a low selling account would be listing items of that magnitude on eBay. Heritage, Comiclink, etc. would be the way to go, if for nothing else, buyer confidence.
  10. I believe, I have at least a 9.4 copy that I purchased about 5 or 6 years ago. I will have to post pics before I sent out to CGC.
  11. The shame of it is, on the old eBay, you could message bidders and at least let them know about this, but now that sadly cannot be done.
  12. The seller has the pages open so tight, it looks like the pages are going to tear off the staples.
  13. There looks to be a dust shadow on the front cover, a cleaning will not help that issue. One page looks to be wider than the rest is damaged. A cleaning and a press is not going to help much.
  14. Bob Storms of High Grade Comics had a 7.5 listed at I believe $67,500 a week or two back it sold before he even put scans up.
  15. Considering they are basically reprints, I would agree!
  16. Wow, I must be strict, I was thinking an 8.0
  17. I am talking about the same book as well, before Kirkman was made a partner at Image he was able to do crossovers and do work for other companies. As an example he did a run on Ultimate X-Men. Once he became a partner, I believe he was not longer able to do work for other companies or do crossovers even though he owned the character.
  18. I think the team up book came out before Kirkman was made a partner at Image, that could be the reason.
  19. I think the standard, at least for me, was to get Bronze Age books in at least 9.4 or better as they were new enough to be available in mid to lower grades and a 9.4 generally didn't break the bank but was still nice enough of a grade for that age. With that being said, there are roughly 1107 copies in the CGC census that are 9.4 and above for a book that is a mega key of that age, which is not really that many consider the book has been a known key for nearly 4 decades. I do not think the prices will last on lower grade copies but again just my opinion. Also I think the MCU has opened up a lot of books to buyers outside the USA which has increased demand and prices, especially for auction houses willing to ship outside the USA.
