  2. I am unsure if this book was metioned previously in the thread, but you rarely see the Image 1963 #1 Gold come for sale.
  3. This thread is about currently hot comics, so who cares about the fact that he read and received the book early.........
  4. Not a knock on you, obviously, but I can't believe people are considering a solicitation mag a first appearance. I mean, technically, Previews probably has the first appearances of half of new modern characters. Maybe I should go stockpile whatever issue of previews shows the cover image of NYX #3 or, better yet, Walking Dead #1!! Previews #25896712 - the first appearance of Rick Grimes! I agree 100%, but I find it silly that Gobbledygook #1 has any value as it just shows an ad for Turtles #1 but a lot of people consider ad placements to be key so
  5. this might be my 2nd favorite. yeah, michonne isn't drawn right, but overall, i really like this. Michonne looks like Linda Hamilton from The Terminator! That's exactly what I was thinking. I dig this cover the most. I like how Sean painted it the way he see's them. A different take and a welcome one. The zombie in the foreground looks like Cassady from Preacher, maybe I think that because this looks like a Preacher cover. Anyone notice how Rick looks just like how Phillips painted Hellblazer...
  6. Now that's interesting low print runs I guess? I believe that is the 1st Scott Synder Batman arc. It is supposed to be quite good and his work on the new 52 relaunch has been drawing attention back to these.
  7. I am surprised that no one else here mentioned that. I noticed that a few weeks ago an was thinking maybe MM will show up in Avengers vs X-men.
  8. Greg probably feels that he will get much more later if holds onto the work. With the price increase of OA the last ten years, most artists probably regret selling their work. What do you think Totleben thought when he saw the MM #15 cover go for over $300k.
  9. Considering the seller has 0 feedback and nothing else for sale, I don't see it getting out of hand.
  10. Just think of what the Pre Unity books would have been if the internet existed back then!
  11. Suicide Squad #6, from the new 52, is doing pretty well on ebay in the $20+ range.
  12. Me? Nope. Paid immediately and positive feedback received after arrival. There aren't often many copies of TWD 19 out there. And most are graded. Mine was the only raw copy out there at the time. Alot of TWD collectors actually want raw copies they can look at. Imagine that. It's funny in college, I passed on about 30 of these for 0.25 cents each in a bargin bin . The only thing I feel better about is they had a red dot on the top of the books, but still.....
  13. 28 but didn't get serious until about 2008. Doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in comics with younger readers .
  14. I'm surprised no one mentioned Batman #234, not as key as some of the others, but still what I consider one of his keys in the Batman run.
  15. I definitely agree, I lost interest in the WD after issue 50, and was reading up until the early 70's.
  16. Sandman #8 Karen Burger Editorial Variant is tough to find ( might be 89 not 1990). Also Sandman #18 with the blue panels is tough. The Preacher Preview is not found everyday either.
  17. This series just keeps getting better and better !
