  1. While it is rather high, collectors of these books generally collect indie stuff, this along with TMNT #1 and Cerberus #1 are the mega keys. The other copies may very well be in private collections, so who knows when you will see another copy.
  2. Does Larsen believe anyone would pay $100 for his sig? I wouldn't care to take it for free.
  3. I have always wondered, where did he get some many copies of all these keys to start out with?
  4. Not trying to derail a thread but the ad should say Marvel is multiple places in the ad but the picture does not show that?
  5. What ever happened with him? Did he stop selling all together?
  6. It's amazing to me how Bryan Singer has a career in Hollywood considering his lackluster attempts at the X-Men, but I guess each movie made a profit so that's all that matters.
  7. I really enjoyed Mike Carey's Lucifer which is rarely talked about but thought it was very well done.
  8. Not being rude, but have you read the Morrison run? Or the Remender Uncanny X-force run? Both runs focus heavily on the character compared to others created during the Morrison run. I would put a better bet on Xorn or Quinten Quire than Dust as Marvel has used them after his run ended.
  9. The book has been undervalued for years compared to other Marvel SA keys, AF 15, Hulk #1 come to mind. I think if the X-Men that appeared in GS #1 would have made the debut in this issue it would be held in higher regard and more expensive.
  10. In the Morrison New X-Men run, he created Xorn, Cassandra Nova, Quinten Quire, the Stephford Cuckoos, Beak, Dust, just to name a few. Marvel has used many of these characters after the fact.
  11. Hey guys, book just back from CGC, book has not been pressed. $210 shipped in the USA only. Case is in perfect condition without any scratches or damage. No one in the hall of shame or probation list. Payment via paypal. Would trade for graded issues of Fables or 100 Bullets in CGC 9.8.
  12. The 7.0 did present better though, the 7.5 looked to have a grease stain or something on the spine.
  13. I thought the final prices on the X-Men #1's on CL last night were a bit soft, a 8.5 went for around 28K when the last few have ended in the 35k+ range.
  14. I'm having a similar issue, I sent in 25 modern books for pre screen and they have been sitting at verified since 10/22/2018. Is this normal?
  15. I agree, great book but for that price, you could get a nice X-Men #1 CGC 8.5
  16. I would sell it and buy a book that you want, possibly CGC grade.
  17. Is the seller of all those copies on the boards? He sells a lot of high grade copper age stuff.
  18. Book will be up till Sunday night and then moved to eBay.
  19. Price dropped to $700 Shipped via personal check. I have sold some big books on here and can provide references if needed.
