Just submitted the form with all 77 ranked! Messed myself up on the initial attempt by having three No. 20s and no 41 or 42. Needless to say that complicated the process needlessly... so many great options to choose from this year!

Huge shout out and thank you to @ADAMANTIUM, who provided an amazing box of goodness as my SS.
I always list a bunch of options for possible gift ideas, including vintage Archies and Silver/Bronze hero books, older toys, and a mix of artists old and new, which I tend to assume provides the SS more flexibility, but could also prove intimidating given the lack of strict focus. Regardless, he really nailed it! The two older Archie books will find a happy home in my collection and that “Afterlife” 23 with the Francavilla cover is actually something I’ve had on my want list for a long time. Those two Superman books with the Adams covers - wow!!! What can you say about that 233 - a classic issue and a beautiful copy, and the 317 is yet another book I’ve been looking to pick up since forever. I have a modest collection of Treasury books but not the 7, which will be a worthy addition... also cool is that it reprints Avengers 57, which I’ve never read and will now be able to check out.
I also appreciate that vintage Star Wars cantina figure - I had a 12” Han Solo back in the day and will see if I can find him to get the gang back together. Either way this will display nicely on a shelf. The socks and fidget spinners are fun and admittedly my daughter has already opened one of the latter, and is eyeing the Star Wars socks to wear herself... so I think I’m spreading the joy, here!
Thanks again, John, and Merry Christmas to you and all my fellow boardies - may you all be spoiled with comic goodness!

Finally made it home for the holidays and got to my P.O. Box to pick up a bunch of packages, including a very large box filled with no less than three wrapped gifts, a bag, and a card with some Wolverine art on it from a generous Secret Santa in Dallas who my tingling Spidey Sense is indicating just might be @ADAMANTIUM...
But I guess we'll find out for sure on the 25th... can't wait to unwrap all of this goodness!!!

Congrats - looks very cool! Too scary for an 8-year-old, or no?

All right, I had been slacking on getting these out and taking a pic, but here's my contribution:
SF Autograph Pack featuring "The Captains"
Four authentic, hand-signed 8x10s from some of the more popular SF series of all-time: William Shatner, Sir Patrick Stewart, Tricia Helfer and Nathan Fillion, all ready for framing. The Captain Kirk and Picard sigs were obtained at the 2012 Montreal Comiccon, where both appeared together, while Helfer was there in 2014 and Fillion in 2017. Also including an unread HC copy of "The Physics of Star Trek," which features a foreword by none other than Stephen Hawking!

I'm in at $1437.57 as my guess if it's not too late...

I do wish people would realize that a big part of participating in this is sharing in the process via posting. When it comes to showing pictures of received packages? That's a wonderful way to let your anonymous Secret Santa know that his/her gift has arrived at your home safe and sound, so it is MUCH appreciated! And it goes without saying...immediately upon opening, please thank your SS!! Someone went to great lengths to pick out something special just for us... so a timely heartfelt note is the least we can do in return, right? (So ok, I guess that didn't TECHNICALLY go "without" saying... but you got the drift!)
I’m working away from home but HJO graciously sent me the tracking number of my gift from my SS and I see that it has arrived at my P.O. Box, so I’ll be sure to post pics when I am able to pick it up... but on the flip side, finished up all my shopping/received my purchases for my recipient and was able to get the package assembled and sent out this week, so hope they enjoy!!!

Hey everyone,
Been a long time since I've sold on the boards but have bought from many of you - in fact, that's part of the reason why I need to raise some funds! Just two books I'm offering here as a combined lot... and to nip any questions in the bud, no, I'm not looking to sell individually at this time.
RULES
1. in the thread rules all and circumvents any ongoing PM negotiations. Books will be considered sold when that "take it" guy is posted or I confirm a PM sale has been concluded.
2. Paypal only. If a sale happens quick and I get paid today (!) I could get these packaged up and shipped this week, otherwise due to travel it could take until early December.
3. No Probies or HOSers.
4. Returns accepted for full refund minus return shipping within 10 days of buyer's receipt of books.
5. If you'd like to check out my Kudos thread, they're linked in my sig. Thanks for your interest!
Alf 48 - 9.0
Classic innuendo cover and relatively tough book to find in the wild. This is a very pretty, well-centered copy that lies flat and just has a couple of faint spine tics and a touch of ncb creasing along the upper left corner and parts of the spine. Definite upgrade potential if you're into that type of thing.
Marvel Tails 1 - 8.5
Beautiful copy that at first glance looks 9.2 - 9.4, appearing unread with perfect centering, but upon a closer look you do see a couple ncb creases on the cover and - the one flaw of note - what seem to be bindery tears where a thumb might have pressed down on the edge of the cover by Hulk Bunny's foot. Otherwise a great example of one of the hottest books out there right now.
Asking $175 SHIPPED for the pair.

In, PM sent!
Never really get to spend as much time on the boards throughout the year as I'd like, but I always try to devote extra time around the holidays exactly to participate in this great event and enjoy all the camaraderie among members. Thanks again to HollyJollyOne and all the elves who make this happen!

You know, Al Milgrom never gets much love but looking back on some of those SSM covers, he really did some pretty great work.

I know you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but both of those look great. Never heard of either author but will check them out based purely on the art aesthetic here.
