  5. Love the Deadpool & well done on the Phantom variants, it's a great idea. BUT - Forbidden Planet? Good luck finding one in NM in fact good luck finding one that you don't have to pick up off the floor The simple fact that they are one of the top THREE buyers, of modern comics in the world, speaks volumes. Quality operation. Sorry but it's like comparing Primark with selfridges (sorry couldn't think of a US equivelant) +1,000,000 Not sure what their reputation is in the U.S. but over here they are considered a joke by anyone who wants to find a comic which could grade any higher than 7.0 Sure, they have a HUGE amount of moderns but they seem to care very little about that side of their business. I consider them a glorified toy store which also happen to stock comic books. I suppose high grade collectors should be glad of FP. They reduce the amount of 9.8's coming into they market by a considerable amount, thus increasing the potential value of books sold by proper comic stores. Also, I've yet to meet an FP employee who was happy to chat with me about their stock. They are happy to take any cash, but after that, it's "Jog on geek boy, someone want's to buy some MTG cards".
  6. I've found myself re-reading every issue prior to a new one coming out so can I join your stupid club? Still enjoying the re-reads though.
  7. An absolutely fantastic movie. Incredibly atmospheric and un-nerving. I went through a phase of low-budget indy horror films a few years ago (Probably on the back of Blair Witch), and Session 9 was one of my favourites. Another recommendation is an indy movie called Salvage (Also known as Gruesome) Linky You'll struggle to get hold of a copy but it is worth the hunt. Ring (Ringu - not the Naomi Watts guff). The video footage still gets me and the final scene scared the living shit out of me when I first saw it
  8. I've got Triangle, Blair Witch, and The Amityville Horror (The original, not the remake guff) lined up for an evenings entertainment. Gotta love any opportunity to have a horror-movie-a-thon.
  9. Sunderland 0 - Boro 1 Take that you smelly Maccums
  10. It's about time us UK collectors got a look in. Larry get's my first official "Good Work Fella (thumbs u " of the week
  11. An infinately better weekend than mine. Picked up a poorly Alex from Nursery on Friday and was immediatly infected with his stomach upset. Spent all Friday night and most of saturday either "talking to" or sitting on the bog. Unpleasant is an understatement. On the plus side, I've probably shifted another half stone towards my Ka-Zar cos-play challenge for LSCC

  13. My "other" team would have to be Chelsea sorry. As long as you never follow The Boro, or the might that is Mickleover Sports then feel free to fill your boots. In fact, looking at the influence you support has had on The Arse, feel free to support Newcastle at any time
