  1. What about lunch time? Lunch break??? You must work for one of them liberal touchy-feely companies who care for employee welfare.
  2. I've just been back again. It has officially degenerated into a toddler-level insult-a-thon. Thank [insert preferred deity here] I've given up all moderns except Revival. I'm travelling back to the 80's and intend to spend the rest of my days dreaming about bronze and copper Marvels.
  3. Are you one of the lurkers following my two copies???
  4. Noob I've been spending too much time reading the "Moderns heating up" thread.
  5. Guinness draught = naughtiness drug Garbage Man = Bag Manager Snooze Alarms = Alas! No More Z's Clint Eastwood = Old West Action Astronomer= Moon Starer
  6. Valuable = I've had my one and only speculative hit ever with Revival #1 and it's variants. I'm now just commiting to a single copy of each for my collection and a digi copy to read. I know that hardly any 2nd prints made it to the UK at all. so lower print runs of the reprints will probably demand some level of premium from the hoarders and professional speculators hereabouts. Long-term investment? No idea. I'm buying them because I love the story. If you are in it for the cash, I honestly wish you all the best. If the book is a long term success, everybody wins.
  7. Gonna have to respectfully decline a response.
  8. I know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but you are both wrong and I am right.
  9. I don't like marmite but love Black pudding and my belly button is an inny On my "Trust-worthy-o-meter" you are clearly in the "In Need of Redemption" category.
  10. I love threads wherein only 5.7% of all of the posts are actually about the subject in the title. I read Revival and love it. Can't wait for #3 later this week. Anyone else wanting to bring this thread back on track? We've also got #1 3rd print and #2 2nd print to look forward to this week
  11. Marmite is legendary. Anyone not loving it's yeasty goodness should not be trusted. Along with people who don't like black pudding or who have sticky-outy belly buttons.
  12. Ticket is bought. Hotel is Booked Bring it on
  13. Now that Alex has (Finally - at the age of 14 months) decided that sleep is actually OK, I've got the opportunity catch up on all the games I've had stockpiled over the last year. Mass Effect 3 Batman Halo : Anniversay MW3 (The campaign which I've never actually touched in favour of online face-shootery) Need to get them all cleared before BlOps2 and Halo 4 in Nov
  14. I can see, Rain. A field Rain More rain. Rubbish At least I'm off on a work jolly to Walsall today. 2 hour meeting at lunch = whole day out of the office (Even though it's only 35 mins away ) Looks like a whole afternoon's worth of Arkham Asylum on the X-Box
  15. Use your iPhone That would entail trusting Orange's utterly fabulous 3G network actually being able to handle more than 7 bits per second. To make it worse, my iPad is on 3, and my office is the only 3 blackspot in the building. Never mind, it's only 40 mins till beer o'clock, I'll watch it in the pub
  16. That's it. Rub it in with your lah-de-dah override button. Hmmm... perhaps that didn't come out quite the way I intended
  17. Don't you just hate sitting at work, trawling the boards and seeing someone post a really funny YouTube clip, which everyone EXCEPT you can see and laugh at? I'm just going to watch the "Access to www.youtube.co has been restricted" warning kindly posted by our ICT team. Gotta hate the Network Nazi's

  19. Diet chicken soup. 2 Clementines. 2 banana's and a handful of grapes. My life is
  20. Absolutely. Look at it this way... you can have a large pizza and still get one of your five a day Or have a doner kebab and get your full veg requirement in one hit. Along with sliced dog, a load of chilli sauce and jalepenos all wrapped up in a nice toasty pitta.
