  1. When you start treating certain board members (PL / HOS Members) differently from others (non PL / HOS) its bad news. There is no point in writing a heads up in someones thread unless its to upset them or create drama. Should we give everyone who signs up a trophy for participation as well?
  2. I didn't even think it was worth responding to, it was so far afield from what is normally considered HOS material. That was my mistake. A fee-less marketplace, and the prominence of the Boards based upon google metrics draws people in here like flies on a piece of bread. For a while, I considered all of the hubbub to white noise. But you can't really avoid it anymore. And you can just about guarantee that a certain percentage of every influx is going to be flakes. As I said earlier in this thread or the other, the marketplace is still one of the greatest places to buy and sell. It is no longer "our little secret," and everyone has to deal with that. It is incumbent upon everyone to make sure that your voice is heard, because the theory that something could be so silly that it won't get any traction is long gone.
  3. This says something louder than any other post when one of the most easy-going forumites makes such a statement. And the shame is any of us would rather be focused on positive things to better the community. +1 (thumbs u You are just pumped that this thing has taken the heat back off of you.
  4. It's funny how you piled onto this considering how much you did this to me. I hardly call this attacking you. Ok. George. What do you want me to say, you win. I suck. Then why do you want to interact with me? I don't with you fella. Just ignore me. I didn't have a problem with you before, but after posting that notice in my sales thread for no reason, now I do. I don't care if it was just a joke or not, I don't care. I wasn't running that sales thread for the heck of it, but since you didn't seem to care, I'll thank you to stay away from any of my future threads. I thought that I was being a helpful member of this community, exposing the recent scammers and shysters, yet when I was coming to the boards to sell some books in order to help pay mounting bills, I get a "joke" post that may or may not have cost me customers because once they saw the notice, I wonder how many bothered to see your spoiler where you posted your GLWTS. I guess I'll just pull the books and try to figure some other way to pay my bills. Board camaraderie, indeed. Get over it.
  5. Whomever has time to hump the button on all these sales threads, God bless you. It's noble work you all are doing.
  6. The thing to remember is that until these books pop, no one cares. Who could have foreseen Rocket f-ing Raccoon blowing up like this, or Groot, or whatever. If Richard Rider's next store neighbor, T-Bone McGillicutty, who 1st appears in Nova #4, becomes the next Spider-Man, there are not going to be copies of Nova 4 out there that have the delineation until CGC is put on notice and they start to include the intel. That will necessarily mean that there will be copies floating around out there without the delineation. This is going to happen more and more, as Disney and Marvel cull the source material for more and more former work for hire opportunities to make bread.
  7. It's divad's auction. Kudos to him. But anyone paying $125 for that book raw needs their head examined lobotomized.
  8. Possibly true with Batman and Superman movies scaled for inflation
  9. Where do you draw the line between who is a dealer and who isn't these days? We shouldn't lose the forest for the trees.
  10. Logistically, there wasn't enough time to have that put together for a public opportunity.
  11. Cassaday has been a tough signature. I got him in 2008 or so and then Chainnball had a sketch opportunity. Here is link to all my Planetary books. http://www.myslabbedcomics.com/GalleryRoom.asp?GSub=1371
