You are absolutely right. But I am never disappointed if I get outbid, because I put my max in. I also never overpay or get hosed if someone else puts in an obscene snipe. And I sometimes I still win stuff, good stuff. Mostly for really good prices. I have lost on tons of stuff, for sure, but it is always on my own terms, and not because I forgot to set a snipe or something.

I have never used sniping software or tried to manually snipe an auction. I just put my max bid in and go.

IMO WB has only 3 choices for MOS 2. It has to be either Brainac, Doomsday or Metallo for MOS 2 to be successful. If WB does Lex again they will loose the audience. I personally think that the Parasite would translate really well to the big screen. Doomsday or Braniac would be great as well, especially the Braniac from "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?"

It will and you should. I agree and I have. I'm on the boat, the plane, the train, big and small buses and even a unicycle! PP could be in for a big spike if the series gets made, and it is good. But it is a period piece, and would appeal to a much smaller market segment than WD. There are significantly less copies of PP1 than WD1, but I don't attribute much attrition to the PP1 population, so I estimate nearly all are NM or better. All told, I can see why people are still bullish on PP1, but I don't believe we will see another WD for a long time.

I am going to put you on the PL on general principle.

The PL is not a "punishment" where people can "leave him on" so he can "learn his lesson." Once the offender makes it right, no matter what type of bad actor they have been, they are off. And HOS is reserved for the worst of the worst. Not disputes over partial vs. full refunds. FACEPALM

Are you kidding? I was worried about 9.8 on both 1s. I did think that one of the 9s had a shot at 9.9. The paper on that issue was awesome. Unlike the paper for issue 12.
