  1. He knows what I did was wrong. I expressed my apologies and offered to chat over beer, on me. You weren't at Heroes. It was brief because I was on my way out. So...once again...if you don't know...stay out of it Clown.
  2. You wish. It's the second time you with Ryan. You owe him two apologies and he hasn't gotten even one. You acted like a fool over Sam Kieth and a fool over the RRP. So just apologize like a man and be done with it.
  3. That is not an apology where I come from.
  4. Who was it that was crying about Ebay auction prices of these RRPs being too high a couple of weeks ago? Someone remind me, I can't remember.
  5. It's the continuing Ebayification of the marketplace. It is probably not as bad as all that, but the days of knowing all the sellers and having interacted with for a while are long gone. And rather than collectors who sell to supplement their habit, there are a lot more people in it to stretch their margins. You think? That may be true, and it'd be a major bummer. This is (was?) the best place to buy comics: good deals for buyers and sellers, with no fees and an excellent reliability quotient. I am not crying gloom and doom. Don't get me wrong. But at my SS end of the pool I would have threads from JJ, Chainnball, Joey, GACollectibles Rich Henn and many others who are strong contributors in addition to creating SS books. Now there are dozens of threads monthly, a lot from people I don't know, and I am pretty dialed in for SS. It's not bad, it's just different.

  7. I would pay 50 cents a piece for NM Nintendo Valiants all day long.
  8. That Predator book looks great, because the cover is set in the city, just like P2. I wouldn't worry about that at all!!!
  9. That EVS Batman is so good, it makes me feel like I did climbing the rope in gym class . . .
  10. Who did you buy that book from? Was it the Wilson's?
  11. I would never say that. The covers are part of the reason that I never thought about buying this book until I heard the buzz and read the first trade. I like them now, because it part of the overall look and feel of the book, but it seems as though line drawn covers would help bring in new readers.
  12. I'll take that bet. Did you see the Single sketched and double signed #1s go for $250 each? And they weren't available for long before they got snatched up.
  13. That is awesome. He is going to have a "WTF" moment in school when he gets the the WWII era and starts hearing about all these guys in historical perspective.
  14. That certainly is awesome! But you have ten sigs on there, right? I see they didn't list Kubert and someone else. Yes, they did. They are on the right side. And while that book is incredibly awesome, it is not one of a kind.
  15. The threadcrapping rules make it impossible to even hint that someone's grading sucks.
  16. Does the Canadian robot wear a toque and spray maple syrup on the monsters?
  17. The "no toggle" showdown begins. Good luck to all participants.
  18. You are not funny and your JL boner is embarrassing. It's not the pleats on your pants.
  19. It's hard to do anything with a debilitating priapism.
  20. Wait 'til I get some of Truman's Illuminati . . .
