  1. All sitcoms use a laugh track of some sort. Arrested Development, Sunny in Philly, and Curb Your Enthusiasm don't and those are some of the funniest shows around. Those aren't what I'd call traditional sitcoms either. They may be funny to you, but to middle America, they're not. Arrested Development couldn't even make it on a major network and is now relegated to Netflix. Conduit content providers like Netflix may put a couple of the "major networks" out of business in the next ten years if they don't start doing better.
  2. Yes, you are very trying . . . --Sean. (Who is glad to see Slym)
  3. Isn't a mystery box a bulk price? I don't think so because you're not selling a "specific book" for a specific price, you're selling a chance to acquire specific books. I think some of the guys who do this sort of thing well (clearing out stock/giving decent value) are still breaking the same rule but I think the mods just look the other way - because some guys are just unloading stuff that people do want. I suppose reading the plain language you are right. If the person showed all the books that were in the mix and said you are going to get x number of these books in a random fashion based upon your purchase price, the aggregation of the purchase prices for the books would technically be a bulk sale, but even then, that would be splitting a lot of hairs just to be technically acceptable.
  4. You have to send him a PM saying that he is being nominated to the PL, and if he doesn't respond in the appropriate time, then he goes on. I doubt he is going to care, or be back, but that is what it is.
  5. This is a (most likely illegal) lottery. It is nothing more than gambling. And it is a huge can of butthurt waiting to be unleashed. At least no one has bit yet. The funny thing about these is why some potential buyers can't see through the hustle. If the books were any good, they could sell them in an ordinary fashion.
  6. I am still calling him POV. If your Uncle Charlie becomes Aunt Claire, you can respect the decision and the change, but chances are you are still gonna call him Uncle Charlie.
  7. Extremely low print run for Spidey. That's a little concerning. 2001 I ate some turkey that had been in the fridge a little too long back in 2001. Should I be worried?
  8. That is great. I did sort of the same thing for Ron Perlman. I had Tim Seeley do a Hellboy headsketch and had Ron sign it. Can't wait to see it.
