  1. Yeah, they look great. Don't ever try to get Jenny Frison to sign one of the 1:10 that she didn't draw, though.
  2. I saw more triple signed Revivals get done this weekend at C2E2 than you can shake a stick at.
  3. How to argue with no logic, no facts and no basis other than your own opinion. Well played, sir, well played.
  4. I love WD. I simply don't see any logical reason why it would continue to rise indefinitely. There are absolutely no analogues in comics. Especially other media tie in comics. I think as soon as the comic and/or TV series has run its course, it will see a 1/3 - 2/3 adjustment downward. Then when the Rule of 25 kicks in, watch out!! All this said, if you love WD and you can afford it without making the kids drink hot dog water for nutrition, have at it.
  5. Cult following doesn't translate to comic value. Otherwise Xena, buffy, and Serenity comics would be blowing up.
  6. Exact same scenario with my brother's rescue puppy. Plus he had worms!! He is doing fine now, after the 50/50 parvovirus diagnosis. Good luck, bud.
  7. Of course, get off the monies and get that 3rd print!!
  8. Other than the terrible sig made with a terrible Sharpie that book rules!
  9. over a week? claimed books 4/12 and payed 4/17 i really wanted to just let this blow over without ever having to say anything in my defense because I've never had any trouble with anyone at all in the boards, but this is just silly. anytime i have been the buyer in a sale i have promptly paid when invoiced as soon as possible. only once have i been late with a payment and it was a lost pm, that with a bump everything was sorted and apologies where issued for the misunderstanding. i haven't had many sales here, about ten to fifteen and they've all gone smoothly except for the mentioned above sale. some people just love dropping names. the boardie nominating me wants to do it because apparently i sent him a book in a grade lower that i had specified. we have exchanged photos and truthfully there's no way i'll offer a refund on a book i'm not sure it's the same one i sent. only thing i can do is be more careful with my photographs and scans, pointing out every single aspect of the book. and please, friends, i know we like to look out for each other, but until there's definitive proof of wrongdoing or mischief, there's no reason to badmouth. this is a really cool place and i plan on being a part of it for a long time. You also have to deal with the A.Romeo post above. Good luck.
  10. I read the first trade and then started reading the floppies. I was hooked after the trade. I felt a little short-shrifted at the way Truman's Illuminati went out like punks, and I am loving the new arc in Oppenheimer's head.
  11. Having grown up on a farm, I've seen many animals die that I've grown attached to but it's never easy for a child to see their first pet die. There's not a lot to console a distressed child but it's helpful to let them know that the pet lived until it was very old in pet years and had a whole animal life. It is the curse of keeping pets that we will always see them die, what seems to us very quickly but is actually their natural lifespan. All good points.
