  1. That Laverne and Shirley book is so awesome.
  2. The first page was awesome. The last page was awesome. The stuff with The Will was awesome. Awesome issue! Yup, #5 was a winner! I remembered I was more shocked to see that character's death then the character who died in TWD #100 actually. It actually felt too soon and unexpected. Jerel who hates Moderns. I read 3, 4 and 5 at the same sitting and I didn't enjoy them as much as I did 1 and 2. Can't put my finger on it. It could be that BKV is really good at setting things up. I usually don't enjoy series that much until three or four issues are under the belt. But I loved Saga 1 and 2. Pretty pissed about the "death" at the end of #5. Hoping that it is not actually a "death" at all.
  3. You don't even want to know/see what I'm NOT posting That's probably not true, but it may make me squeeze out a tear.
  4. Gotta agree with this. Jeff mentioned to me a couple of months ago that he thinks I have become his biggest competitor, but yet he has never had a problem discussing anything openly and frankly with me. He has never been afraid to help me out, or minded leaving an extra dollar on the table to make sure I'm taken care of. I hope he knows that the feeling is reciprocated. Hell one may say we've even become friends. Jim Thanks guys. (thumbs u My world does not revolve around making the most money. I realize this is a foreign concept for the vast majority. I have this debate all the time. I am a stay at home father of three. Everything else is secondary. Making a few bucks from selling comics keeps me home. And he rocks a black leather coat better than anyone since Wesley Snipes.
  5. Booked my plane ticket a couple of week ago +1 Good chance to finish my YTLM signed run and ExMachina. Guess I'll be holding onto my RRP's. Save one for me, mother trucker.
  6. Great book, Chris. I can't wait to get mine back.
  7. That 103 is a smoking turd. Look at 53. That is a comic cover. I am very much in the Tony vs. Charlie camp. But I can easily acknowledge the good work that Charlie does when he does it. These covers lately are ridiculous. The Emperor has no clothes.
  8. My #1 got signed by Marzan at Heroes. Think there is a bump up to 9.8 coming on that one.
  9. It looks like all of his WTBs have been scrubbed from the forum. Good work by everyone!
  10. I agree. Does this pattern of behavior go back more than 30 days? The fact that it is Darrell, Mike and Barton is the most damning evidence. All three super solid marketplace denizens. What a sad deal this is.
  11. Anyone that collect slabs knows that the top labels, especially the old label top labels, get dry, or loose, and sometimes come off. No seller represents or warrants anything about top frickin' labels. And if Barton says it was on there when he shipped it, it was. If I punched myself in the nuts every time I was shocked by people's actions in the marketplace, i would be a eunuch.
  12. I kept your books separate from Cretella's so you should be safe.
  13. Those are great books, Michael. Your I Feel Sick #1 and QOTD were both nicer than mine and they both got the same grade.
  14. He had to crack a 9.8 Sigourney Weaver to get that done. Fortune favors the bold!!
  15. Send a PM to branget. He sent me a book in a box that perfectly fit one slab. I turned around and shipped his back (it was a trade) in the same box (USPS) and it was the best price I have ever paid to ship a slab to Canada. It might be common knowledge in the GWN, but those thin white boxes are awesome, and we don't have anything like them at our PO, that I know of.
